Chapter 29: Resurrecting Shang Tsung

Shinnok sends Quan Chi to gather Shang Tsung's remains. As he returned with the remains, he put them down in front of the throne room where Shinnok was.

"I have brought Shang Tsung's remains as you requested," Quan Chi said as he bowed at the waist.

"Very good, Quan Chi, but this will be the last time bringing Shang Tsung back to life," Shinnok said as he brought the bottle of red potion. As he dropped one drop of red potion, Shang Tsung's corpse began to restore. However, his bones turned to skin, and his black hair grew. Eventually, Shang Tsung was reborn again.

"The resurrection has been completed," Shinnok said before he gave Shang Tsung some clothes.

After that, Shang Tsung blinked his eyes a few times until he remembered everything. He let an angry exclaim, shouting, "Not again!"

"Welcome back, Shang Tsung," Shinnok greeted him.

Shang Tsung blinked in shock as he recognized. "Lord Shinnok?"

"It has been a while, Shang Tsung. You haven't changed a bit." Quan Chi said.

"Shut up, Quan Chi." Then Shang Tsung faced Shinnok with an annoying look. "You bring me back for this?"

"Indeed, sorcerer, but we do need your help with something," Shinnok said.

"Don't tell me. It's about them, right?" Shang Tsung said they didn't want to deal with it.

"Unfortunately, but you are now my servant who will do as I say," Shinnok said.

He rolled his eyes. "I'm not interested since I'm now free from Shao Kahn's grip."

When he was about to walk away, he was attacked and pinned against the wall by Quan Chi's magic.

"You are not going anywhere, Shang Tsung. And you are now my servant. Leave or you'll die." Shinnok growled, glaring at him.

"O-Okay, Shinnok..." After that, Quan Chi increased his power to release Shang Tsung.

I have one thing for, Shang Tsung." Then Shinnok led Shang Tsung to the chamber room where they saw the floating sphere flying in the air.

"What's that?" He asked, confused.

"Behold, the orb!" Shinnok showed him the magical orb. "It only controls the elements of nature, fire, wind, water, and earth. Even Raiden's power."

"Interesting," Shang Tsung said, rubbing his chin while staring at the sphere.

"Now, you will use the orb to destroy Raiden and his minions. If you fail me, you will spend the eternal damnation for life." Shinnok warned as he offered Shang Tsung the magical orb.

He sighed in frustration as he nodded. "Yes, Shinnok." 

I swear, when I'm done with the mission, I will get rid of Shinnok and then I'll take over Outworld, no matter what, Shang Tsung thought in anger.
