Chapter 32: The Deadly Alliance

"Guys, I have these dreams again," Sae-Byeok, now in her Sailor Eclipse form, announced.

"Was it Helios?" Jake-Long asked.

Sae-Byeok nodded.

"What does he say?" Kung Lao asked.

"He wants us to find the monk named Kai. He's a monk who will help us with the Golden Crystal. He's in the secret realm called Magicrealm." Sae-Byeok said.

"Kai? Who's Kai?" Sailor Venus asked, confused.

"I know Kai!" Liu Kang said happily, pointing it out.

"Yeah. He's a nimble and agile Nepali fighter of the Gurkha warrior class. He's also a friend of mine and Liu Kang's." Kung Lao said.

"No way! So you know Kai along?" Sailor Jupiter said.

"I was going to ask the same question," Jax said.

He nodded. "That's right. We used to train with him. It was right before the Mortal Kombat tournament."

"Should we find Kai?" Sailor Jupiter asked.

"You guys should go rescue Usagi, Venus and I will find Kai immediately," Kung Lao suggested.

"You know! That's a great idea!" Suddenly, they heard a voice chuckle evilly. The gang turned to face the two enemies, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.

"Shang Tsung!" Raiden glared at him. "So you brought a friend along."

"I need an assistant," Shang Tsung responded, smirking at him.

"I see you came back with a rematch; well, you have to go through us first," Liu Kang said as he and Kung Lao stood in a fighting position, preparing to fight the Deadly Alliance.

"You go get them, Kung Lao!" Kung Jin exclaimed.

"Kick his fucking ass!" Takeda shouted.

"Watch your mouth, mister," Sailor Mercury scolded him.

Just then the two Shaolin monks and the Deadly Alliance began to fight. Kung Lao took on Shang Tsung while Liu Kang took on Quan Chi.

Kung Lao threw his Razor Rimmed Hat at Shang Tsung but missed. However, the sorcerer managed to dodge his attack.

"You beneath me," Shang Tsung growled. Then he summoned Nitara who appeared flying from the sky.

"Now get him, my beauty," Shang Tsung demanded.

Now Kung Lao has to take her down. He remembered the tricks when he traveled to the future timeline to defeat Future Nitara.

With the same tricks, Kung Lao managed to finish Nitara as he used his Razor Rimmed Hat to kill her. Shang Tsung became furious while watching him.

At the same time, Liu Kang managed to defeat Quan Chi before Sailor Eclipse could help out.

"Eclipse Gorgeous Meditation!" Sailor Eclipse shouted as she unleashed the attack at Quan Chi, almost killing him. After that, Kung Lao threw his Razor Rimmed Hat at Shang Tsung but missed again.

Shang Tsung glared at them before taking the defeated Quan Chi back to the Netherrealm. "This isn't over, Liu Kang!" With that, Shang Tsung created the portal and disappeared.

"That should be taken care of," Kung Lao said, smirking.

"Awesome job!" Kung Jin exclaimed, amazed at how great his relative was. "You are so amazing out there!"

He grinned at his future cousin. "Why, thank you, Kung Jin."

"I wish we had a son," Sailor Venus wailed.

"Now we'll have to find Kai while you guys go rescue Usagi," Kung Lao said.

"Are you sure about this, Kung Lao?" Raiden asked.

"Are you going to be okay, Venus?" Sailor Mars asked.

"We'll be fine. You guys go on without us." Sailor Venus said.

"Teleport us to the Magicrealm," Kung Lao said.

Raiden nodded before teleporting them with his magic. "Understood. Good luck."
