Chapter 42: The True Wedding

Eventually, Liu Kang and Usagi are finally getting married after everything goes back to normal, especially after defeating Shinnok. Everyone was gathered around in the Shaolin Temple.

Helios was there, though he was there for Sae-Byeok, and as he promised, he would meet her again. Jake-Long figured they were probably dating just now. Cassie and the team were invited to the wedding.

Lastly, Queen Serenity secretly visited the wedding as she watched over her daughter getting married. She also stood beside Raiden as they held their hands together.

"Our daughter is finally getting married, Raiden," Queen Serenity said as her gray eyes filled with tears.

"And now our King and Queen of Earthrealm," Raiden replied, smiling at his wife.

"Do you, Liu Kang, take this young woman to be your wife?" The priest asked.

He nodded, smiling. "I do."

"And do you, Usagi, take this young fine monk to be your husband?" The priest asked.

Usagi nodded. "I do."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Then everyone watched Liu Kang and Usagi kiss on the lips, causing them to applaud.

"Finally! They're finally married!" Kung Lao exclaimed excitedly.

"And the future timeline is safe," Minako said happily as she cuddled her fiancé up. And so everyone began their celebration of Liu Kang and Usagi's wedding while having fun.

Helios and Sae-Byeok were dancing on the floor, and so were Jake-Long and Setsuna. And Haruka and Michiru. And Kung Lao and Minako. And Luna and Artemis in their human forms. And Usagi's parents. And lastly Raiden and Queen Serenity.

When the wedding was at the end, Liu Kang and Usagi went out on their way to honeymoon so they could spend time together.
