While this was going on, Jax and Makoto were relaxing in the cool shade, enjoying the gentle breeze that rustled the leaves above them. Of course, these two were dating as usual.

Then Makoto turned to Jax and asked, "Hey Jax, love, can I ask you something?"

"Of course, babe. What is it?" Jax asked with a warm smile.

She hesitated for a moment before speaking. "Will you always protect me? I sometimes feel defensive around others."

His expression softened as he took Makoto's hand. "It's okay, Mako. We all have our struggles. I will always protect you, no matter what."

Then Makoto's face lit up with gratitude. "Thank you, Jax." With that, the two embraced each other and shared a tender kiss, lost in the moment of their love and devotion.
