Chapter 34: Netherrealm

As Liu Kang and the gang arrived at the Netherrealm, Liu Kang noticed the shining object glowing within his chest.

"What's going on?" Liu Kang asked as he looked at his chest curiously.

"I dunno," Johnny said, staring at the shining object.

Then Raiden realized something. "Could it be that you have...?"

Just then, Sonya got a call from Sailor Venus, who ordered them to teleport them where the others had gone, so Raiden teleported them to the Netherrealm.

"Guys! We finally know who will defeat Dark Endymion and Shinnok!" Kung Lao said as he and Sailor Venus ran up to them.

"What is it?" Sailor Mercury asked.

Sailor Pluto let out a smile as she took a step forward. "It appears Liu Kang has the Golden Crystal."

"What!?" Everyone said in shock.

"Don't you see? With the Golden Crystal, Liu Kang will be the one to defeat Shinnok and Dark Endymion to save Usagi, the Jinsei Chamber, and Elysion." Kai said, the one and only who agreed to help them.

"And Helios?" Sailor Eclipse asked.

"Yeah. Priest Helios." Kai said, nodding. "Even if he uses the Golden Crystal, he can transform into the Dragon just like the last time when he fights Shao Kahn in his monster form. He even can help Sailor Moon to defeat our enemies with his power."

Kung Lao faced Liu Kang with a serious look as he took the two of his hands. "Liu Kang, you will be the one to save the world. To save us all."

Liu Kang looked at his bare hands, shocked. "I can't believe I had the Golden Crystal...! This whole time!"

"Liu Kang, we will fight together until the end to save Usagi, Helios, the Jinsei Chamber, and Elysion," Kung Lao said.

He let out a smile as he hugged Kung Lao. "Always together, dear friend."

"Now we must face Shinnok and Dark Endymion," Raiden said.

"Yeah! Let's do this, y'all!" Jax said excitedly as he clashed his robotic fists together.

"You tell them, Dad!" Jacqui exclaimed excitedly.
