Chapter 20: Usagi's Curse

Usagi shot up, sucking back a breath of air.

"Usagi!" Sae-Byeok clung to her, hugging her for dear life.

"What happened? Where are we?" Usagi asked, looking around the lair.

"You are in Lord Shinnok's lair, Princess." They heard a deep voice speaking. The two turned to face the sorcerer who was none other than Quan Chi.

"Quan Chi?" Sae-Byeok blinked in shock, surprised to meet Quan Chi from the past for the first time.

"I see you two have awakened. Dark Endymion will be thrilled to see you, Your Highness." Quan Chi said.

Usagi began to glare as he embraced Sae-Byeok tightly. "What does Mamo want now?"

He let out a smirk. "Why don't you ask him yourself?"

Then the zombie revealed himself as Dark Endymion as he happily approached them. "Usako, I am so happy to see you again, my love."

She was grossed out as she saw what Dark Endymion had become. "Ew! What have you become, Mamo?"

"It appears Shinnok had made him the Revenants," Sae-Byeok whispered to Usagi.

She blinked in confusion. "The what now...?"

She swallowed back and her heart sank to the pit of her stomach. This was exactly what she feared. She lowered her head and couldn’t control the tears that formed within her eyes. Dark Endymion shot back up and rushed over.

"It’s ok. We’re together again, Usako. Nothing’s going to take you away from me. Not ever again!"

"What!?" Usagi looked upon Dark Endymion as if he’d lost his mind. He reached over with a hint of a smile. He caressed her cheek.

"Don't touch me!" Usagi shouted, slapping his hand away. "Liu Kang and the others are coming for us! Just you wait, Mamo! He’s going to make you pay for hurting me! And he’s a lot stronger than you!"

"No one’s stronger than me!"

Sae-Byeok joined in as she faced the zombie. "Oh, yes, he is! He’s bigger too! And he is more powerful than you!"

"Nothing’s more powerful than the me!"

"Oh, and one more thing! You are way uglier than Shang Tsung!" Sae-Byeok said, giving him a smirk.

Quan Chi rolled his eyes at hearing this. "Shang Tsung will be pissed if he hears this."

"Wow, Sae-Byeok! You are right! You know, Mamoru is way one hundred percent worse than Shang Tsung. I must say... getting kidnapped by Shang Tsung is way better than getting kidnapped by Mamo." Usagi said as she placed her index finger on her chin.

"That's it!" Dark Endymion gritted his teeth and went to backhand Sae-Byeok. Usagi darted over and took the intended hit.

“Now why’d you go and do that for?!” Dark Endymion shouted and he promptly helped her back to her feet.

Usagi glared at him as her eyes filled with tears. "You jerk! Don't you ever hit us!"

"That was meant for you!"

"And you shouldn’t be hitting women either! I always hated the way you mistreated me, you stupid jerk!" Usagi shouted, "You never once cared about me ever since we broke up."

"And why do you care so much, Usako?!"

Usagi quickly embraced Sae-Byeok while protecting her.

"So this is how you react to seeing me after all this time?! I don’t even get a thank you for saving my life. You haven’t even said that you missed me! Don’t I at least get a hug or a kiss even?"

"Saving me?" She protested behind laughter, "Is that what you call that? Saving me?! After what you did!? You forced me into marrying you and trying to kill my friends who cared about me! And what exactly were you saving me from, Mamoru? Love?"

He let out an insane smirk. "Exactly! To keep you away from the Shaolin monk! Sooner or later, you will be mine and you will have to marry me!"

"You're insane! I will never marry you!" Usagi said in shock.

"Then I will take that as a matter." Then Dark Endymion turned to face Quan Chi, shouting, "Quan Chi, curse her!"

"Yes, My Prince." Then Quan Chi put a spell on Usagi under his control, causing her to feel dizzy. However, he threw a red rose at the side of her throat, making her numb and feeling sick.

"Usagi!" Sae-Byeok cried out.

"Sae-Byeok... run..." Usagi groaned in pain, feeling like she was going to faint away from the venom she was in. Yes, the throne of red rose infected her throat with venom.

"I won't leave you!" Sae-Byeok shouted.

"Just run...!" Then she collapsed as Dark Endymion caught her in his arms in success.

"Very good, Quan Chi. Now make her fall in love with me again." Dark Endymion ordered.

"Yes, My Prince." Then Quan Chi controlled Usagi as he used her like a puppet.

"I love you, Endymion, my love..." Usagi said, giving him a lovable look on her face. With that, she kissed him on the lips, causing Sae-Byeok to scream out in surprise, saying, "Noooooooooo!"

Sae-Byeok's body began to glitch when Dark Endymion almost destroy the future.

"It worked!"

"Prince Endymion, you will have to use my amulet necklace to control her. Your red thread of fate had sealed after the kiss she had given you. She is yours now." Quan Chi said as he gave him the amulet necklace of the red crystal rose.

"Thank you, my friend. Now to prepare for our wedding!" Dark Endymion said as he took the amulet necklace.

"You won't get away with this! I won't let you marry my mom!" Sae-Byeok shouted at him in anger.

He smirked at her. "I already have. Quan Chi, get rid of her and kill her brother next!"

Sae-Byeok then had no choice but to return to the future timeline where she and Jake-Long were supposed to be.

As she used the Space-Time Key to teleport away, Quan Chi almost captured her by using his magic to kill her.

"Dammit, she escaped!" Quan Chi cursed out.

"Do not worry, Quan Chi. When me and Princess Serenity are together, Sae-Byeok and Jake-Long will be long gone when Chibiusa and Crystal Tokyo will be born again." Dark Endymion said as he faced Usagi who was still falling in love with him.

"But we have to kill Liu Kang first to make sure he won't interfere with us again," Dark Endymion said as he caressed Usagi's face.
