HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT IT was already matt's last day in new york for the week? the trip surprisingly went by quickly for you. but for matt however, it has felt like he has been there for decades now and he couldn't wait to get home to you. you had started to get used to the fact matt was sharing a hotel room with julia, and it made you feel better that matt never left his room to go and hangout with her when he was in the hotel. he told you he just kept to himself, since he agreed that the whole sharing a hotel room situation was a little strange. but, you never felt comfortable about it; you had just gotten used to it.

matt was currently in the office working to finish up his last day in new york while you were out with nick looking for a new coffee table replacement for the other one you shattered.

"wait, nick, come here. i think matt would love this one." you called nick over as he was farther down the isle than you were, scanning the shelves for coffee tables as well.

nick walked over to you and you pointed out the table. nick nodded, "i agree. i think he'd love it too." nick smiled then bent over, picking up the box and putting it in the shopping cart.

you giggled, clapping your hands together. "okay, let's get home so we can build this thing now." you sighed, pushing the cart towards checkout as nick followed, humming a response.

"AND IT'S LIKE, HOW DOES THAT even fucking happen?" you scoffed, handing nick the screwdriver. "like i don't know what it is about this julia girl but she just gives me such bad vibes. and that one night matt and i went to that work party i saw the way she looked at him, and i know when people admire other people, or they look like they want to fuck them instead. and she definitely wants to fuck my man." you sighed, letting out a groan.

"yeah she sounds like an annoying little bitch. and about that hotel room thing? like why the fuck would matt's boss make him share a room with his assistant? that's so rare. i feel like julia was assigned to get the hotel rooms and chose that situation, but i could be wrong." nick scoffed as well, standing up and flipping the coffee table over to stand up straight.

you thought for a second. nick could be onto something with that accusation.

"well, at least you have a new coffee table." nick chuckled, plopping down on the sofa next to you.

you giggled. "thank you nick."

"do you have a photo of this annoying bitch? maybe i've seen her around." nick asked suddenly, looking over to you. you looked over to nick, smirking at him then grabbing your phone from beside you and clicking on a few buttons until you pulled up a recent photo of julia. you watched as nicks eyes widened and he snatched your phone from your hands, zooming in on her face. "no. fucking. way." nick mumbled.

"what?" you exclaimed, sitting up and shuffling closer to look at your phone but it was still the same photo. "nick, what?" you asked again.

"y/n, this girl went to fucking high school with us. she moved her senior year, you and matt probably hasn't seen her ever but i had spanish with her." nick handed you back your phone, stressing as he ran his hands through his hair a few times.

your heart sank, your face turning pale. "no..." you started. "nick, do you think she might've had some obsession with matt and found out he was working at prada and took the job just so she could get her dirty hands on him?" you questioned, your heart thumping.

"y/n, i don't know. we could be wrong about everything theres so much we don't know." nick sighed. "but there is a possibility. and not to mention that's so suspicious that this girl randomly took this job without knowing anything about prada, and she went to school with matt."
