There, Levi sat, completely frozen and in absolute shock. Fear was clearly written all over his features, staring at the still buzzing phone [Y/N] held in front of his face. His skin was drained of what little pigment it previously held. Panic had now set in.. and any chance of logical thinking had flown right out the window.

The phone had stopped ringing, and then started again. This cycle repeated itself about 3 more times without a single word being spoken between the two. [Y/N] was almost afraid to speak. Afraid that whatever might come out of her mouth would trigger him somehow. Whether her words would have led to one of his episodes or a mental breakdown, she wasn't even sure. She just knew she didn't want to take that chance.. so there she stood, frozen with him.

Levi slowly began to stand from the sofa, trembling. [Y/N] was quick to back up a couple of steps, making sure he had the room to rise. He hadn't even blinked. His mouth was still left ajar as he fought whatever trauma that was almost visibly raging inside of him. The horrified look on his face had [Y/N] more than worried. She was petrified. She had no idea what his next move was going to be, and at this point, she didn't want to find out.

Now, in an upright position, Levi swiftly pulled the elastic waistband of his sweats back up around his hips. He then vigorously grabbed his cell phone from [Y/N]'s hand, catching her completely off guard. She practically jumped in reverse at the feeling of the sudden rough movement.

"Levi.. are you seeing somebody?" She said in a soft, timid tone. "It's.. it's alright if you are. Honest. I mean, we aren't dating. I wouldn't feel some type of way if you.." She took a small, cautious step toward him but stopped instantly when she was met with a hostile glare.

"Is this a joke to you [Y/N]? Who planned this out? Let me guess.. Hange? She claims to know so much about my past.." He said in a gravelly, threatening tone. "Tell me." He took a step closer.

"Your.. past?" [Y/N] said shakily. What about his past? Was he a murderer? Rapist? Thief? Maybe this is what she gets for falling for a man she barely knew. What the fuck was he talking about?

Although he was small in stature for a man, [Y/N] was fearful. His presence was beyond intimidating. Dangerous was a better word. She had never seen Levi this angry before, definitely not toward her. This man in front of her was a totally different man than the one she was spending time with just moments earlier.

"TELL ME. NOW." His voice rumbled fiercely as he grasped [Y/N]'s jaw, applying real pressure.

"Le.. Levi.. I.. I don't know.. what you mean.." Her voice was shuddering as she struggled to release the words up from her throat and out of her mouth. She was officially shaken up and confused as fuck.

"How else would this name pop up on my phone, hmm?" Levi applied a little more pressure to her jaw, causing her to squirm from the pain. "Answer the question, [Y/N]." He said low and menacingly.

"Levi, let me the fuck go! I.. I dont know what the hell you are talking about! You.. you are hurting me, you dick!" [Y/N] tried her best to sound strong, but inside, she was ultimately weak. She had no idea what the hell was going on or who the person's name was that was calling his phone. All she knew was Levi looked like a possessed man, and no matter what she said to him, it was certain he wasn't going to hear her out.

In that instant, Levi's cell phone, which was now in his hand, began to ring again. He glanced down at the screen, and his jaw clenched tightly. It read the same name, but the number was unavailable to view. How?

[Y/N] made an attempt to speak, but before she could, a whizz could be heard flying past her head. A loud thrash against the wall behind them startled her. She scrunched her face as if bracing for impact. She was stunned at the sound of metallic pieces landing around the room that followed immediately after. Levi's phone was now in pieces, scattered about the wood floor.
