How did she get here?

Karina let out a silent grunt when she was hit in the stomach again, her eyes glaring at the man who held a bat in his hand as he twirled it in his hand before swinging again.

"Undo it." He shouted with another powerful swing.

Karina coughed and spat out blood as she glared at him, "Go to hell."

Karina was in awe at the finished look at the house, the rooms had been painted according to her instructions which gave the house a more modern feel even if the outside remained the same as when Klaus got it.

It had been three days since the incident with Marcel and Karina had been spending time at the abattoir with Bonnie while Kol surprisingly had helped Jenna with enrolling Jeremy into school. He had said that it was better than following around Elijah who refused his help or being around Klaus who mainly liked to draw and sketch images of Bonnie.

"Do you like it?" Kol asked Karina softly from beside her.

Karina nodded as she looked around happily, "It's great! Far better than I imagined."

"And your favorite part has appeared." Kol said just as the sound of a truck pulling up could be heard.

"Furniture!" She cheered happily as it had been her most anticipated part that she was excited for.

She already had a vision for all the rooms and her father's office, along with the living room and the kitchen appliances she ordered would arrive later in the day.

Kol chuckled as she went to greet the company workers as well as apologize in case she got too overbearing with any changes she might make. The crew didn't seem to mind as they simply told her that they would do their best to see her vision through, which she was grateful for.

Karina started with the bedrooms first.

Bonnie just finished another online session of school and closed the laptop that Klaus had generously bought for her so that she could do her schoolwork.

She looked up at the sound of a knock on her door, Klaus was leaning against the doorway. "Klaus."

Klaus felt his chest constrict at the happiness in her tone as she spoke his name, as if seeing him made her happiest of all. "Hi." He cleared his throat, "How was schoolwork?"

Bonnie groaned softly as she pushed the laptop away from her, "Boring and torturous."

Klaus chuckled and walked further into her room, "It couldn't be that bad."

"You probably attended colleges and not high school." She told him amused, "You don't know the pain of high school."

"Yes, you're not wrong." Klaus told her with a grin, "But I can imagine."

She hummed before tilting her head at him, "Did you need something?"

"Ah yes." Klaus' eyes widened a fraction as he remembered what he had sought her out for. "I was wondering if you would like to join me... tonight?"

Bonnie felt her heart skyrocket into her throat, a flood of emotions hitting her as she didn't hesitate to nod her head, "Yeah, yeah, I'd love to."

Klaus smiled and nodded his head, "We'll leave at seven."
