This woman is unrecognizable.
Her misery is indescribable.
Her faith is nonexistent.
Her hope is missing.
Her mouth is hissing.
Her heart could use assisting.
Her mind stays while her common sense visits.
But whose fault is it?
For every lie you was there to listen.
Leaving another part of you that needs fixing.
Like mold them bad decisions are sticking.
Her tongue is dry from all the bruises she's licking.
She's losing herself.
She's shattering like a glass fell off a shelf.
She's losing her hearing like she's deaf.
She doesn't have much more love left.
She's grieved her heart so much already, but there goes another death.
She's screaming on the inside.
She's suffered so many ego deaths it's a genocide.
She's lost count of how many times she's cried.
How could she be so blind?
How could she still listen to her heart over her mind?
How come life can't be kind?
If she look any deeper, she's afraid of what she'll find.
But Something gotta make more sense down the line.
What's the obsession with disappointment?
What's the obsession with smoothing out bumps in the road like an ointment?
What's the obsession of hanging where you're not needed like an ornament?
The way she allow deceit, to be torn.. she's almost adamant.
She wasn't like this before.
She allowed her insecurities to create a whore.
She allowed her depression to work her like a chore.
She allowed her tears to soak her in a sadness galore.
She's so damaged non toxic situations are a bore.
Like rain her emotions leave her drenched.
Like a boxer her anger leaves her fists clenched.
Like an injured player her self esteem was benched.
Like a madman love has left her unhinged.
She's so fragmented.
If she was a flower she'd be left unscented.
She carry bitterness around with regrets that she consented.
She prayed they wouldn't break her heart, and still watched as they bent it.
She's clairvoyant but these sorrows, she never dreamt it.
If love was her last dollar , she already spent it.
Unlike them, every word said she meant it.
Against love she'll always feel resentment.
She's been drained from.
She's been devastated by what the pains done.
Like a parade.. she's been rained on.
