Lust. Why do you cause us all our trust?
Cause you're That vein pumping through men like the water flows from rain.
You're the sweet dessert of lies women offer in return for sugarcane.
You're the reason we led ourselves to believe a fling could be seasons.
You're the flashlight to one's true meanings.
Temptation is your beautiful pair.. followed by pain and despair.
You often show who actually cares.
Sometimes you leave us with feelings we don't care to share.
I won't go too deep because most people families wouldn't even dare.
Even though they know the damage is still there.
With you, I share my deepest prayers.
Lust, Are you still here?
All the pain you cause should leave shame.
Upon you and the ones to blame.
But like those feelings, you and them can meet the flames.
So you can remember our names & the moment when you came.
I hope fire feels the same.
God forgive my words and insinuations.
I know you have multiple limitations.
You're right lord, facing lust I lacked patience.
I had moments where lust felt amazing.
Moments of rush compared to racing.
Thoughts that now bring me disgust showing I'm changing.
Making me distrust which causes the rage I'm bringing.
When I think about it my ears start ringing.
Lord why am I not dreaming?
I can't stop fighting the urge of screeching.
while lust just offer me semen.
Why does Lust keep clinging??
