The next morning, Afsheen woke up and found Farah sleeping beside her.

Farah has shifted to her room after Alizeh's kidnap to mentally and emotionally support her.

Afsheen really appreciated Farah's efforts towards her. A smile came on her lips as she caressed Farah's hair.

All her efforts in the previous days proved Afsheen that how much Farah loved her.

And all Afsheen wanted was to equally love her back.

The day after Roshanay's truth was revealed to them, Farah has told Afsheen about the love she had always carried for Moosa and then placed her request infront of Afsheen- helping her in marrying Moosa and in the divorce of Moosa and Roshanay.

Afsheen had told her that it was Moosa's decision to take but then Farah countered arguement of Roshanay being manipulative and would pull Moosa back again in her charms and there were chances he might end up forgiving her.

Slowly, without even realizing, Afsheen began to dance on Farah's tunes. Farah has completely manipulated her. She has instigated so much abhorrence and disgust in Afsheen's heart for Roshanay and Roshanay's mother. And since Alizeh was not in the house, Farah was successful as Afsheen spent most of her time with Farah, and she ended up believeing everything Farah told her.

By now, Afsheen did everything as Farah told her. Farah has asked her to convince, emotionally blackmailing and manipulate Moosa in marrying Farah.

And Afsheen didn't even realize...

Afsheen stood up and headed towards Moosa's room so she could discuss something related to Moosa and Farah's marriage with him before he leaves for the office.

On her way, she asked a servant about Moosa whereabouts and was told that he was in his study.

She reached there and knocked twice but he didn't respond so she entered and was surprised to see the scene infront of her.

Her eyes widened to the size of saucers as she saw the bottles of wine lying on his table. His head was on the table as he slept.

She stepped towards him before shaking his shoulder.

"Moosa, son. Wake up," she whispered still in shock.

"Moosa," she again jolted his body when with a jerk he woke up. He closed his eyes again, adjusting with the pain before opening them and his eyes focused on his mother standing there.

"Moosa, son, wake up," her concern filled voice reached his ears.

"Yes, mother. What happened?" His voice groggy as he stood up.

"Please go and take a shower. I will make breakfast for you,"

"Okay," he responded and walked out of his study as she stared at his retreating back.

Flashback

"You dumped all your cigarette packs, son?" Afsheen questioned while she was preparing something in the kitchen. Moosa stood infront of the coffee maker, making himself a cup of coffee.

"How do you know mother?"

"Shafqat, your personal servant, he told me. You asked him to dump all your cigarette packs?"

He turned towards his mother, "yes, I dumped off all the packs,"

She smiled, "and how did you reach this decision?" She has been asking him to quit cigarettes since it was injurious to his lungs but he only stopped smoking infront of her so she won't have to worry about his health while seeing him smoking. But she was aware since Shafqat kept on updating her about his smoking habits.
