THIS IS TOLD ENTIRELY FROM BARTY'S PERSPECTIVE

The train is almost at King's Cross and Regulus has gone to find Potter so that he can say his goodbye, and Barty has decided he wants to see Evan once more before he spends two weeks without him.

Granted, two weeks doesn't sound like a lot, but Barty hasn't gone a day without seeing Evan since the summer so it's going to be a change.

Barty sees Kit walking out of a train car, so he assumes Evan is inside, and when he looks through the door window, he finds Evan sat against the window of the train, looking out at the scenery, so Barty steps in which catches Evan's attention. Evan smiles at him as Barty takes a seat next to him.

All Barty can think is how beautiful Evan is.

He's always so beautiful.

Barty is going to miss the privilege of getting to set his eyes upon such a beautiful face for the next two weeks.

"I wanted to see you before we got off the train" Barty says, which he thinks is pretty obvious, but he wasn't sure what else to say

"I'm glad you did, it means I can give you your Christmas presents to you instead of delivering them to you via owl...and I suppose I wanted to see you too" Evan replies with a smile

Barty grins at him, leaning in and kissing him. Evan is always so thoughtful, so funny, so sweet.

Barty loves him.

Evan then pulls his trunk off of the overhead holder and opens it up, pulling out two nicely wrapped packages. He then closes his trunk and puts it back in the holder before turning to Barty and handing him the two packages. Barty places them behind him and grabs a hold of the two presents he had brought with him to give to Evan

"Don't open these until at least Christmas Eve" Evan states and Barty nods

"I wouldn't dream of it" Barty replies with a smile, handing Evan the two presents from him

"You can't open these until at least Christmas Eve either" Barty states

"Wouldn't dream of it" Evan replies with a grin, taking the two packages and placing them on the seat next to him, causing Barty to smile.

He's so witty.

So perfect

Barty loves him.

Barty cups Evan's face in his hands "Write to me?" Asks Barty

"Of course, you can't get rid of me that easily, Crouch" Evan replies

I never want to get rid of you Barty thinks, he doesn't say it, despite how much he means it.

"Good, I'm not finished with you yet" Barty says with a grin

In fact, Barty doesn't think he'll ever be finished with Evan. He wants him forever, he would say he wants him for the rest of his life, but he fears that's not long enough.

Evan Rosier is the kind of person you want to hang onto beyond the bounds of morality, he's the sort of person you want forever and always, in every lifetime, forever and always, for all time.

Barty wants Evan forever

Barty loves him.

A comfortable silence settles over them for a few moments, the two of them enjoying each other's company before they inevitably have to part ways.
