Evan:

Revenge

People say it's a dish best served cold, but Evan has never understood that, because he thinks it's best, it's sweetest when it's filled with red hot anger

Evan has always wondered what the sweet taste of revenge is like. Of course, Evan has lusted for revenge his entire school life. Admittedly, the person he had wanted revenge on is now his boyfriend, but that's by the by, since then, Evan has found new enemies to seek revenge upon, and what is a better time to do that than in war?

Evan is stood in the middle of a street somewhere in Kent, in the midst of a battle, and he sees an opportunity. The opportunity in question is a dishevelled Severus Snape, stumbling in front of him.

Evan is reminded of all the shit Snape had given him over the years, especially over the last year, and he feels that itch, that oh so familiar anger bubbling beneath his skin, and he's ready to set it free.

"Snape, what a treat that I should see you here" Evan says as Snape recomposes himself.

Truth is, Evan had wanted an opportunity like this to arise, he had been so focused on trying to protect Barty and Regulus before that revenge had gone to the back of his mind, but now the opportunity stands in front of him, and he can make Snape hurt, can make him beg.

For the first time in his life, Evan is excited to be cruel, he can feel himself relishing in it already.

"Rosier" Snape says, trying to snarl, but it's obvious someone had had their fun with him before Evan could, but Evan doesn't mind, it means Snape is weaker, easier to break, and he is so eager to hear Snape snap

Snape tries to walk away but Evan grabs him by the scruff of his neck and pulls him back, throwing him down to the floor and relishing in the thud of Snape's body hitting the hard ground. Evan then looms over Snape, a grin spreading on his face

"Now, Rosier, look, we're on the same side, surely you're wasting time" Snape says, trying to sound reasonable, but Evan doesn't miss the fear tainting his tone, it makes him feel powerful, for once he has the upper hand.

"A little in-fighting never hurt anyone, Snape" Evan replies

"What are you going to do?" Asks Snape

"That depends" Evan begins, taking a moment to think, so many options, Evan isn't sure where to start "Tell me, Snape, have you ever been subjected to the cruciatus curse?" Asks Evan, and he loves the fear that flashes across Snape's face.

Snape sits up, but Evan pushes him back down, pressing his foot to Snape's chest "Now, Rosier, that wasn't me, that was Mulciber" Snape replies, sounding fearful

"You were there, you laughed, you encouraged, you were no better, you deserve it just as much as he does, and you're the one I have in my grasp right now, not Mulciber" Evan says

He points his wand at Snape, and he should just use the spell, he shouldn't give Snape any opportunities, but he can't stop himself from taking a moment to enjoy the fear in Snape's eyes, the quiver in his lips, the tremble of his limbs.

He finally understands why Barty would take pleasure in hurting people, it makes Evan feel high on power, it makes him feel good, scarily good, like he can do anything.

Unfortunately, he takes a moment too long and Snape takes his opportunity, grabbing Evan's leg and pulling it out from under him. Evan falls to the floor with a thud, feeling the air being absolutely knocked out of him.
