Evan:
It's Kit's birthday today, so Evan has some preparations to make.
He asked Elowyn Pieters to change the day of her and Kit's date to today to keep him out of the Common Room for most of the day while Evan sets up.
Word of Kit's birthday party got around to all the Slytherins and whilst the Slytherins don't really like Evan, they do like Kit and they definitely like a party, so there will definitely be many people in attendance.
Evan has asked Regulus and Barty to help, which they both agreed to do, but Barty has been called away by Dumbledore which both Regulus and Evan thought was odd, but that leaves just Evan and Regulus to blow up balloons and hang banners.
"What do you think Dumbledore wants with Barty?" Asks Regulus
Evan shrugs, unwrapping a 'Happy Birthday' banner he found in Hogsmeade "I have no idea, reckon he'll tell us?" Asks Evan
"Most likely not if he hasn't already" Regulus replies with a shrug
"Know any charms to blow up a balloon?" Asks Regulus
"I'm surprised you don't" Evan replies and Regulus rolls his eyes
"I don't know everything, you know" Regulus comments
"Could have fooled me" Evan replies with a grin that makes Regulus smile and shake his head at Evan
"I'll do the balloons, you hang the banners" Evan says and Regulus nods.
They finish decorations far quicker than Evan expected, with a 'Happy Birthday' banner on every wall and green, white and blue balloons scattered around the room.
Evan then conjures up a few tables and places the drinks he got from Hogsmeade down on one of the tables. He had gotten some firewhiskey, butterbeer, lemonade, coca cola, pumpkin juice and fizzy pumpkin juice, which Evan thinks is a good enough selection.
He then places sweets he had gotten from Honeydukes on the table next to the drinks, placing down bertie botts beans, chocolate frogs, licorice wands, pumpkin pasties, gummy snakes, chocolate mice and droobles down onto the table.
"Right, fancy a trip to the kitchens?" Asks Evan
"You're really going all out for this" Regulus comments
Evan shrugs "I've never had a friend to celebrate a birthday with before, I want Kit to feel special" Evan replies, almost feeling embarrassed of himself
"You're a good friend, Rosier, I'm almost sad I didn't befriend you sooner" Regulus says with a smirk
"Almost?" Asks Regulus, raising a brow
"Well I can't be too nice now can I?" Asks Regulus and Evan laughs
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, fancy a trip to the kitchens or not?" Asks Evan
"Yeah, go on then" Regulus replies
They head down to the kitchens tomorrow. Evan tickles the fruit in the bowl in the painting and the entrance to the kitchen swings open. Evan and Barty step inside and are immediately greeted by a crowd of house elves.
"Hellos sirs! How can we be helping you?" Asks the house elves
"Would you be able to cook up some party food? I don't know, snacks like crisps or something?" Asks Evan, not entirely sure of the specifics, what does one count as party food?
The house elves all nod, seemingly knowing what Evan means "of course, sirs! We is happy to be helping!" The elves exclaim, immediately busying themselves
