"Fuck, Mahieu," I hissed under my breath. She knows how to ruin my mood.
It was wrong to cast Sage out of my office like that. I felt the vibration from my phone on the desk and knew who was calling. I have been trying to get a hold of her for two weeks now. It was no use. I had to get back home and fix this. I picked up the phone and made a few calls. The message came in after I came off the phone.
*He's fine, mon cher.*
I could feel my jaw clench as my teeth grind against each other. I fucking despised these silly games. I picked up my tablet to make my departure. If I didn't get there on time, it's going to be another week of this bullshit. How can someone be this selfish?
I exited my office. While walking down the corridor I passed the cubicles of the junior and senior designers. I scanned the area until my eyes caught the frames on her desk. Everyone wasn't here yet or was out and she most likely was in Miss Beauchamp's office talking. The two were inseparable. Her bold nature was like a flame I could feed off of. She wasn't afraid to hold her composure in front of me. Something I yearned for deeply. I went up to her desk to pick up one of her many frames. They were mostly of her cat and family. She loves her family. I can see that. Miss Beauchamp is ever-present. Maybe I should be jealous because I wanted her to myself and I was going to have her one way or another.
"Mein Kätzchen," I whispered lightly stroking the frame with her and her cat, before placing it down on her desk. I came across a sample-sized bottle of perfume and quickly picked it up. I opened the lid and inhaled. She loved nature from all the floral scents she wore. I pocketed the bottle and made my way towards the underground garage, to my car. I had my pilot prepare the jet from a phone call I made in the car. I had dismissed my driver thinking that I would be getting all of her tonight at dinner. I was wrong. I smiled to myself. If only she knew how much I liked a challenge. I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that she said no.
Mein Kätzchen, I would risk everything for you. Another smile crept on my lips.
The traffic was not so bad getting to the airport. I bypassed most of it. I handed my keys to one of the hostesses on my flight. I would retrieve them when I got back. I felt my hands starting to clench and unclench as I took a seat on the plane.
The interior of the craft wasn't much. I had my interior designer choose neutral colours. Tan mostly. I kept everything simple since everything else in my life seemed complicated. I took my jacket off to place it on the seat next to me and waited as the hostess handed me my laptop. The pilots were still doing some checks to ensure that the journey was safe because it was going to be a long flight. I opened the laptop to begin working. I was fully engrossed with all I needed done when I heard my phone vibrating next to me on the chair. I checked the screen and saw Ekko on it. I closed my eyes for one second and then refocused my attention on the laptop in front of me. The phone stopped vibrating after a while. Not long enough the pilots gave the all clear and the plane began moving. I buckled myself in. I'm glad that I had an email prepared to send to Miss Beauchamp leaving her in charge while I will be gone.

There was a pressure building low in my gut. An unease settled over me. My eyes flew open. The plane had dipped and was stabilising in the new altitude. This woke me from my brief nap. Almost there. A feminine scent wafted under my nostrils and I was captivated by the faint hint of fresh, sweet flowers. I touched the tips of my fingers to the top of my lip and inhaled. Sage. I needed to have her. Wrapped around me, but she kept her distance from me. It drove me crazy. I needed a release, but I liked that she stood for what she believed in, even if it was me. One way or another I will have her. I pulled the little bottle of perfume from my jacket pocket and sprayed more of it on my wrist. I wanted to savour her in some physical sense. I also knew when I arrived with another woman's scent it would throw her off. The tension I felt between my eyes had my mood fucked. I closed my eyes once more and let my mind drift towards Miss Sauvignon. Sage. Mein Kätzchen. She mesmorised me from the minute I laid eyes on her. She had a charm about her, that drew people to her. She was loud and she knew it. She knew that men wanted her little petite frame wrapped around them. I felt the breath I was holding escaped me and my dick growing. It jerked a little at the thought of her being so close. Swaying her hips, tucking the loose strands of her hair back into its place. The sexual attraction was evident, but I needed to get into her mind to observe her for myself.
The beep from my phone took me out of my thoughts. I was growing more irritated. An email reminder from the school stating a two-week absenteeism.
Chers parents,
L'absentéisme étudiant continue d'être l'un des obstacles les plus importants qui empêchent les établissements d'enseignement d'atteindre leurs objectifs...
~
Dear Parents,
Student absenteeism continues to be one of the most significant impediments preventing educational institutions from reaching their objectives...
The muscles twitched in my jawline. Now I had to set up another meeting. I shut the phone off in hopes of a few hours of peace before my landing. All will be handled within its time.
