"Hello, Miss. Diggory!" The class chorused. We were sitting in the History of Magic room and AMBER WAS LATE AGAIN! And what was worse, ALANA WASN'T EITHER! "Miss! Could we learn about Dawn and her years at hogwarts?" Called a student. Miss. Diggory stiffened. It seemed that memories were flashing before her eyes. Then she sighed. "No, dear child. That will be for another day." The student folded his arms and slumped into his eat. The door creaked and then suddenly, Amber and Alana appeared through the door.

They tiptoed toward the closest seats to the door but Mrs. Diggory interrupted them. "Amber and Alana!" She called, turning around and looking straight at them. They froze. "LATE, are we?" She smiled. "Uh, no," Amber said quickly. "You must have miscounted everyone," Alana said covering Amber. "Miss-counted?" Mrs. Diggory answered slowly. "Well, then why are you standing?" I slowly rolled my pencil to Alana. Alana leans down and picks it up "I dropped my pencil, mam, and Amber was just helping me find it, my mistake, I'm sorry," Alana says, looking down.

"Y-yeah what she said, and now that we've found it, we're gonna sit down now," Amber says walking toward her seat, Alana following behind her. Amber looks over at me, and mouths the words, 'Thank you', and I nod, looking back to the front. Mrs. Diggory slowly walks to the board ignoring what just happened. "Over two thousand years ago, Hogwarts was founded by the four founders of magic, Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Salazar Slytherin" Mrs Diggory called and wrote on the board in big bold letters. First finders of Hogwarts, Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Salazar Slytherin. "Now, get out your textbook called "A Magical History" By Dawn Potter and write down everything I've written on the board," Professor. Diggory said, gesturing toward the board.

I look down at my bag and search for a book titled that. Astronomy... potions... divination... ah ha! A Magical History by Dawn Potter! I took out my textbook from my bag and opened it.

"What's happening here?" Mrs. Diggory asks, and I look up noticing she is right in front of Alana and Amber's desk. "And why don't you have your textbooks out?" Alana jumps and looks straight at Mrs. Diggory. "Yes, I'll get my book, but before I do may I ask something?" Alana asks. "You just did!" Mrs. Diggory answers. "Okay, well, can I ask two more things," Alana says sweetly. "Fine, go ahead!" Mrs. Diggory replies, smiling sweetly. "Can Amber borrow my books while I get hers from her common room?" Alana sighs. "How's that even possible?" Called Emily's voice. "You're a Ravenclaw! Amber's books would be in the Hufflepuff common room!" And Alana rolls her eyes. "Of course, yes, you can go," Mrs Diggory said ignoring Emily's statement. Alana leaves and Miss Diggory starts to go back to writing on the board.

The first founders of Hogwarts. Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw, Helga Hufflepuff, and Salazar Slytherin. These four founders, Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin, were widely described as being the most brilliant witches and wizards of all time. Each of them created their own House in Hogwarts: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin houses, named after their last names.

"Alright, has anyone finished writing what's on the board?" Miss Diggory asks. "Yes," I called at the same time as Emily, Jade, and Amber. After a moment of silence, we noticed that we were the only people who answered, everyone else just looked at her blankly. "Just these three girls?" Miss Diggory replies. "Well looks like you three have a free period while everyone else needs to write everything that they've missed," She says glaring at the rest of the class sharply and they duck their heads. She looks back at us and smiles. "Go on, then" She smiles sweetly and gestures to the door and we all get up and start marching out.

As soon as we got out we saw Alana in the distance. We all raced to her "Oh no, did I miss the class?" She cried, scared. "No, we just got free period." Jade butts in. "And, so do you," Amber says cheerfully "Since I had you're book all your work is finished all I have to do is recopy everything into my book," Amber said to Alana. She pulled out her books from her bag and handed them to my sister. "Here," She said happily. "WHAT?!" Emily screams and the closest door to us suddenly opens and a teacher comes out. "Keep the volume down" She sneers and Emily turns to face her. "Sorry, miss I-It's just so hard t-to stay quiet w-with these girls b-bullying me!" She whimpers innocently and Amber and I roll our eyes and look at each other, then burst into giggles "See? There l-laughing at me" She tears up

The teacher looks at us sharply and we freeze. "Lola?" Said a voice from inside the room. I looked up excitedly. I smile. "And, Amber." He said, looking depressed. The teacher turned to Sirius. "Sirius, since you know these girls, you can direct them to their next class." Amber was about to explain but I blocked her mouth and she subsided. Sirius shrugged and walked over to me. "Can you come to the hills after this class? I'm free then." Sirius whispered. "Yes of course! I have time before lunch" I replied in a whisper. Jade walks over to us. "Remember the fight in Divination class?" All three of us burst out giggling. Suddenly we heard a yell. "YESS, YESS HUNDRED TIMES YESS!!!" Alana screamed. We turned around, confused. "Sorry," Alana finished innocently and looked back at Amber with a face that looked like she was going to explode.
