Orm smirks at me. Let me tell you, she freaking smirks and lifts her head so our lips are only inches apart. Just one move and our lips would touch.

"Is your heart strong enough to have me, darling?" I smile flirtatiously and continue, "I can be hard to handle sometimes."
"I know how to tame the tiger, anyway. Try me." She then wiggles her eyebrows to tease me even more.

We laugh together at our silliness and my heart seems so fulfilled right now that I do not even remember when I last felt such happiness and freedom.
Laying down next to her so I can hug her close from behind, I whisper beside her ear, "I love it when I give you back hugs, it makes me feel like I can protect you and give you the home for you to lean on."
I know she is smiling from ear to ear but then she guides me to lay on top of her again, only to have my head held against her chest. Feeling her rapid heartbeat but also calm breaths, my heart feels at peace immediately.
"I'm also your home, Tee rak." She pats my back and kisses the crown of my head gently.
"You can always confide in me, P'Ling. You told me you're craving safety and I'm your safe zone, right? Let me be the place for you to come back home to, with us being each other's healers."

Being asleep most of the time today to heal myself from my sickness, my head spins even more when I hear P'Mam's voice through the call.
