23 - She Forgot To Breathe

We both stared at each other knowingly when the director told us that. And slowly, our faces turn red simultaneously when the other staff utters giddily, "But don't suddenly add a kissing scene again alright? Remember, at this scene, Tawan and Ira have not gotten together, yet."

I clear my throat nervously as Orm just enjoys laughing at my shyness. But my lover immediately stopped when I whispered something to her before walking away to the kitchen table for our shoot. "Don't act like you weren't enjoying our kissing scene yesterday."

ACTION!

Clapping my hands together, I casually ask her, "So, what do you want to make?"

Her beautiful face seems to ponder seriously which makes her look even more adorable to me. "Hmm, we got flour, eggs, and milk. How about pancakes?"

Nodding my head, my hand reaches for the flour at the same time with her so just like we always do, both of us would insist on doing things for the other person. Usually, I would just step back and let her do it, but because she just laughed at me a few minutes ago, I will show her who's the boss here!

"No, it's alright! Let me do it."

"No, I can do it."

And boom! The package suddenly tore apart with flour flying out everywhere. Glancing nervously at the chaos we made, by only seeing her poker face makes me blink in fear as I sit down obediently and gulp down my drink. Did I just say I'm the boss here? What kind of a boss easily get scared with their wives?

"Who's the bodyguard here again?"

I know she's teasing me for real, especially by throwing the flour at me so I immediately accept this challenge and throw more flour at her. If I'm not the boss, at least I can win this!

That's just so us. So childish. But, laughter always accompanies us as we keep on attacking each other without even minding the CUT from our director.

Only after she started to cough that I stop and quickly run towards her. "Are you okay, Nong?"

Seconds later, it's my turn to cough as flour is all over my face and her satisfied laughter fills up the space. Shaking my head at her sneaky way to win the game every time, I carry her on my shoulder ever so suddenly making her laughter turn into screams as I take her towards her mom. "Mom Koi, I return your daughter to you."

But I forget the same genes are running inside both of their bodies so instead of responding to my words, Mom Koi just laughs out loud at my flour face as I can only shrug my shoulders again.

"Awee, is my Lingling Kwong sulking right now?"

I shake my head while still pouting and puffing my cheeks.

"How about this, if you win this rock paper scissors, I'd grant you one wish and vice versa. Are you in?"

Light is shining through my eyes as I have my wish ready immediately. Nodding my head excitedly, I proudly show my scissors only to look at her fist that forms a rock.
