1st birthday party pt 2

Saturday morning arrived, and Y/n and seokjin had woken up early. They both cooked breakfast together and ate with eunna. The little girl was now eating slightly more solids like scrambled eggs, small pieces of bread, slices of avocadoes, and anything that was allowed to be given to a one year old.

The parents had hired party decorators to come to the house and decorate the backyard. As mentioned before, the theme of the party was the strawberry shortcake cartoon. It was Y/n's favorite cartoon tv show when she was little.

While Y/n gave eunna a bath, Linda and Yoongi arrived early to help Seokjin with some food preparations. They had hired a catering company but they also wanted to cook some food themselves.

"Yoongi, go upstairs and help your sister with eunna" Linda said as she ordered Yoongi. Yoongi nodded and walked upstairs to eunna's room. Eunna was wrapped in her little towel and a pacifier in her mouth. When she noticed Yoongi, she squealed. He smiled and walked to where the toddler was.

"Hi noona" he said referring to Y/n.

"Hi Yoongi, how are you?" She asked walking out of eunna's bathroom with dirty clothes from the toddler. She walked to the closet and left them in the hamper, and picked out an outfit for the girl. She was going to put eunna to sleep so she would be awake and happy when the guests arrived.

"I'm good noona, mom asked me to help you with eunna" he said as he picked up the toddler and placed her on the changing table.

He made sure her body was dry before putting lotion on the toddler. Luckily the girl already had a diaper on, all she needed was some clothes.

"Ok, well I'm going to go make her a bottle so she can fall asleep faster" Y/n exited the room and walked downstairs to the kitchen. When she walked in the kitchen, she saw seokjin chopping some vegetables, and her mom stirring pots, lowering the heat from the stove, and whatnot.

"Hi mom, hi honey" she said. She stood in her tippy toes to kiss her husband, and then hugged her mom.

"Hi sweetie, how's my grandbaby?" Linda asked.

"She's good, I'm going to make her a bottle and Yoongi will give it to her" Y/n said as she took out a baby bottle and the formula. After heating up the water for a few seconds, she scooped some baby formula and poured it in the bottle, she closed the lid and shook the bottle.

"I'll be back" she said.

She walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs to eunna's room. When she entered the room, eunna was half asleep in Yoongi's arms. Y/n cooed silently.

"Here you go" she said whispering. Yoongi gave eunna the bottle, which she gladly took and began to drink it.

"Alright, just stay here with her, when she falls asleep, place her in the crib" she said. Yoongi nodded and looked down to see eunna's sleepy face.

After hours of preparation, everything was ready. Yoongi and Linda had gone home hours ago to get ready. While Y/n was getting ready, Seokjin decided to put on the little outfit his brother had gotten his niece. It was a pink and white hanbok, a traditional Korean dress.

"Who's my beautiful baby girl? You are" Seokjin said cooing at his baby girl. Eunna laughed at her daddy's silly faces.

"Let's go take you to mommy" he said as he picked her up.

Seokjin walked to their room where Y/n was changing into a hanbok as well. She looked up from her dress and awed.

"My baby girl" she said. Eunna squealed and reached for her mom. After making sure the dress was on right, she took the baby girl into her arms.
