The Informat of the Sea

Chapter 4

After everyone has finished eating you crossed your right leg over your left leg and leaned back on your hands. "So, let's get straight to the point. You came to me for information. The information I have usually isn't cheap either, so what do you want to know?" Nami becomes defeated and slumps over. 

"Whaaaat?? There's no way we can afford it." Robin pats her on the shoulder and shakes her head.

"Don't worry Nami. She's not looking for berries, she's looking for information. Right, (Y/N)?" You nod and sit up, keeping your leg squared over your left leg and letting your arms lay over them.

"That's right. Let's say you have a question about a navy admiral. Depending on the information you give me first about a question I have that I deem matches your question, I base my answer off that information. You with me?" Naomi nods her head and the others start to get a peak interest. "Ok, so say If I wanted to know about a devil fruit and you told me the basics of the devil fruit, I would give you the basics of that navy admiral. The information you give me is my pricing. The more you give, the more I say." Nami and Ussop nod, listening intently.

"My assumption is that you came to find me because of Luffy's Devil Fruit power, the Gum Gum Fruit. It's a high priced question, so what do you wish to know about it?" The crew looks defeated slightly, so you cut them some slack. "Since you're traveling with two of my favorite people," You throw a grin Robin and Jimbei's way, "I'll sell you this information for free. And I'll use this to cash in for Law as well, so this will clean his slate for giving me gift. Price solved!"

Sanji speaks up, lighting a cigarette and taking a drag. "It seems this new addition he got from fighting Kaido has put him in the spotlight. Which for him I'm sure he doesn't care about, but what about this development has deemed him an extra threat." You hum, folding your arms and bringing your left hand up to your lips before throwing a smile his way. 

"That's a great question Sanji." He gets heart eyes immediately and seems to only care about you smiling at him instead of asking questions.

"You just can't relax can you, you stupid cook." Zoro finally peeps up, just to take a dig at Sanji. You can see a tick form on Sanji's forehead as he turns to Zoro.

"I'm the one actually asking questions, you mosshead. So why don't you just go get lost somewhere." 

"Haaaa?! What was that?" Zoro stands up and goes to unsheathed one of this swords. You see Franky laugh and move to break them up, throwing them away from each other before they break out in a fight. You turn to Luffy and beckon him over. He looks up from eating all the meat his crew didn't eat and swallows. He licks his lips and walks to stand in front of you. 

"What's up?"

"Now you might not care so much about this new development of your devil fruit, but you have what the World Government considers one of the most dangerous and powerful devil fruits." This causes the tussle between Zoro and Sanji to stop, making it look so comedic. Frankly is holding them by the scruff of their shirts and they all freeze mid motion. The other straw hats follow a similar pattern. You stand up and come face to face with Luffy. You flick his straw hat up to uncover more of his face and smirk.

"Your devil fruit has another name that the World Government has washed from history, and the fact that it has landed in your hands and in front of me is amazing luck for the both of us. Are you curious about the name?" This causes Luffy to tilt his head slightly and cross his arms.

"Hmmmm. I don't know if I really care." You blink at his bold remark, and it causes you to burst out in laughter. You clutch your stomach and almost topple over on top of him. This causes Luffy to burst out in laughter, laughing along with you. You take a few breathes to calm your breathing and stand up straight.

"I figured you'd say something like that. I'll keep the name and other information to myself until a later time then. For now I can offer to help you train this new development, if you'd like. I'm sure it exhausts you greatly and I'm positive I can be of assistance." He nods, following along and seeming to like that idea.

"That means you'll join my crew right? The that's settled." He throws an arm around your waist and turns to his crew with you clutched close to his side. 

"Wait Luffy, what ar-"

"EVERYONE! Let's get back to the Sunny!" He turns with you still glued to his side and throws his arm all the way out to the sea. You're unsure of what he's even trying to grab for, so you look back at his crew to try to ask and see all of them holding up prayer hands. This causes you to go white. Before you can open your mouth you're being thrown forward by Luffy. You scream out of surprise and grab onto his shoulders. He laughs, stilling holding onto you as you head towards what you know understand is their ship. You calm yourself down, but become worried again as it seems like you won't be slowing down and will crash onto the deck in seconds. 

You hold onto Luffy with your left arm and hold out your right arm. You create a gust of wind that keeps you and Luffy from plummeting onto the deck. You let the wind set you both down safely on the deck. When your feet touch the wood and stabilize yourself with the help of Luffy you put your free hand on your chest and breath out a sigh of relief. Liffey lets you go and laughs.

"Wasn't that fun??" You shoot him a sideways look and compose yourself, running your hand through your (H/C) hair to smooth it out. You have to admit, it was a little fun. You chuckle and turn your head to look at him. 

"I guess it was. But what about the rest of your crew?" You point out towards the island you two just came from, the crew no where in sight. He grins and walks toward the head on the ship, which is the famous lion head that now is Franky's wanted poster. As upsetting as that probably makes him, you think the figure head is very adorable, so you don't think it's that bad. 

"They'll make their way onto the ship soon enough. Are you ready for a new adventure?" He turns to you and the wind catches his features, tussling his raven hair in the peak of the sun. It makes your breath catch in your throat for a second, but you quickly come out of it. Any good wind and sunlight will have anyone a little breathtaking. You walk over to him and shoot him a wide smile back, letting the wind blow through your hair as well.

"I'm as ready as I'm going to be!" Luffy frowns a bit and stares at you. You tilt your head in question. "You alright?" Whatever came over him moves on as he gives you his award winning smile. 

"Yep!" You then watch him throw one if his hands to grab hold of the lion head and launch himself onto the head of the Sunny. "Everyone ready?!" 

"We would have been ready and here quicker is Zoro over here didn't get lost." Nami comes onto the ship first, with Ussop and Chopper close behind. 

"I don't know why we even let him try to take the lead, he also got all of us lost." Ussop says with a he shame if his head and hips arms crossed. Next comes up the man himself, Zoro with Sandi following behind, keeping a close eye on him like he'll get lost just walking onto the Sunny. 

"Watch it." He grumbles out and makes his way to the ledge on the deck to sit. Brook laughs out and pulls a guitar out of no way "I'd watch it, but I don't have any eyes! Yohoho!" Robin comes on the deck laughing at Brook with Jimbei next to her. He makes his way to the helm and smiles at Luffy. 

"We're ready when you are, Captain!" 

"Shishishi. Alright. Everyone, get ready to sail out!" You watch everyone rush to their stations and you go the the middle of the deck and breath in, hearing the waves on the water and the wind. You wait for the Sunny to leave the side of the island and aim in the direction of the next destination. You smirk and raise your arms up, and throw them forward. This causes a huge wave to pick up the Sunny and throw it a few hundred feet. You hear some of the crew scream and grab onto the main mast of the ship. You look up at Luffy as he holds onto his hat and laughs loudly, clearly enjoying the ride.

"Yahooo! Let's go!"
