The Informat of the Sea

Chapter 11

*Authors note: Sorry that last chapter was so long. I had so much I wanted to express and I just threw it all on one chapter. I hope y'all are enjoying the story so far. This chapter will contain fighting, so this is a warning; there will be blood. If you don't like it you can skip the fight scene. Enjoy!*

You and Luffy sit at a table at the restaurant you were at earlier. His head is on the table while you look over the menu figuring out what to eat for lunch. He groans loudly. "Luffy I already told you, the festival doesn't start until later." He sits up and throws himself dramatically over the back of the chair.

"But I'm boooooored." You chuckle and put the menu down, realizing you were t going to get him to sit long enough to order food and then wait for if to come out. You sit there silently watching Luffy dramatically sigh and flop back on the table. He crosses his arms and rests his head on them, peaking up at you through his raven hair. 

"Why don't we go and find the others? They're probably walking around looking at the shops." Luffy perks up and nods feverishly. You laugh and pay for the drinks you two got. Luffy jumps up and practically vibrates, full of energy he has to get out. You snort.

'He's just like a golden retriever.'

"Who do you want to find first?" Luffy puts a finger under his chin and hums. Right before he opens his mouth you hold your hand out and grab the object flying towards you two. Luffy's already looking toward the tree line where the object came from. You look at it and see it's a knife. It's jagged and sharp, glinting in the sun, practically teasing you itself with how shiny it is. Your eye twitches and you grab Luffy, dragging him in the crowd.

"Whoa where are we going?! We have to fight them!" Luffy tries to turn back and wiggle out of your grasp, but you hold tighter.

"We need to find the others, they could be in danger. Whoever is here knows we're here, so they will know to look to them too." Luffy falls silent. It was obvious he wasn't thinking about that, which is fine. He's certain his crew can take care of themselves and he's the kind of guy to jump right in and fight. All good things, but something is causing all your hair to stand up. Something doesn't feel right. 

You two continue to run through the crowd, trying to pick out the Straw Hats. "Luffy, I think we should split up. We'll cover more ground this way. We'll meet back up at the Sunny." Luffy nods.

"Got it." You two go in opposite directions. You look for a bookstore, knowing you'll find Robin there for sure. There's a chance Chopper and Jimbei are with her too. You finally see one and spot Robin looking at the history books outside, unaware of the attack. 

"Robin!" She looks up and smiles when she sees you running over.

"Y/N! I'm glad you're ok." You stop in front of her and grab her wrist.

"We need to leave, someone is here and they've already tried to attack Luffy and me." Her smile drops and you can feel her shift into gear. She nods. 

"Jimbei, Chopper, we need to head back." Jimbei and Chopper walk out of the bookstore and smile when they see you. Chopper runs over and wraps his arms around your leg.

"Y/N!" You smile and pat his head.

"Chopper, Jimbei, it's too dangerous here. Something is coming. We need to get to the Sunny. Do you three know where the others are?" 

"The others walked farther down. We'll help you look for them." You look up at Jimbei and nod.

"Ok. Luffy said to meet back up at the Sunny. If you find anyone else relay the message and head over there asap." The three of them nod and you run down to tract down the others. You hope if Luffy finds anyone it's Zoro.
