The soft coos of birds begin to stir you from slumber. Your brain was still foggy from slumber. You kept your eyes closed and snuggled into whatever you were holding onto to hide from the rising sun. The object you were holding was warm but oddly very rough and hard. It wasn't soft like your blanket or pillow, which is what you expected to feel. You felt around for a few seconds and confusion started to arise, slowly lifting you out of the sleepy haze. You slowly open your eyes and try to rub the sleep from them to see what you were holding onto. What you come face to face with was not your room where you thought you were and the object you were holding wasn't an object at all, but a person. A person who snores quite loudly.

You try to sit up and realize you're caught up in limbs that have wound themselves around you. You look up at see Luffy sleeping soundly, his hair tousled by the breeze during the night. The proximity of you two makes your face heat up and you slowly untangle your limbs from his, trying not to wake him. Once you do he rolls over unto his back and lays like a starfish, soaking up the first of the morning rays. The sun highlights his features in a warm glow. You stop yourself from basically checking him up and carefully hop down from the head of the Sunny., shaking your head in disbelief. The landing causes your body to crack and a groan spills from your mouth. 'I've got to stop sleeping on rough surfaces.'

You look around the Sunny and close your eyes, straining your ears to listen for any movement. It's quiet, meaning the crew is still asleep. You float up to your room to avoid stepping on any creaky planks and open the door to grab a change of clothes and a towel to wash up. You don't usually wash in the morning as it helps you avoid bathing with Nami and Robin to avoid any questions.

You stop at the door of the washroom and debate just waiting until around lunch time when everyone is usually busy. You run your hand through your hair and cringe at the coarse feeling of it. Sleeping outside made the salt from the see coat your hair. While the smell of the sea salt was nice on your body and hair, you can already picture yourself scratching at your dried skin as the sun bakes the salt littering your skin throughout the day and drying it out even more. You sigh and walk in, deciding to take the risk.

You turn on the shower and sit on one of the stools. You grabbed your body wash and breathed in the scent. The smell of f/s flooded your senses and relaxed you instantly. You rinsed your body and hair once steam started bellowing off of the shower to remove the first layer of thick salt. You stepped out and sat down again and grabbed your body wash to start washing away the rest of the salt.

"Want me to get your back?" You jumped and whipped your head around, seeing Robin walk in. The sound of the running water masked the door opening and you had your back to the door, so you never noticed her walk in. Your hesitation causes her to send you a warm smile. Her smile reassures you and you pat on the stool next to you.

She smiles wider and sits down next you you, holding out her hand. You turn to her and hand her your body wash and a wash cloth. You take a deep breath in and prepare your self for her to see the scar and turn to show her your back. She doesn't say anything as you move your hair to allow her to wash your back. Her touch is soft and soothing, just like a mother's. You relax your shoulders and let the smell wash over you.

"You have very smooth skin for being a pirate." You look back at her and laugh.

"I have a strict skin care routine." She laughs and hands you the wash cloth so you can wash the rest of your body. "You have smooth skin too, even your hands are smooth for an archeologist."

She looks at her hands and nods. "I have my own routines too." You two laugh and settle into a comfortable silence. Once you finish lathering up your body you rinse off and motion for her to turn around so you can return the favor.
