Third Person POV

It was quiet on the Sunny. The only sound was the waves crashing against the boat. It was sunny with no clouds in sight, a nice cool breeze complimenting it. It was a beautiful day, but for the Straw Hats, it was more like a laugh targeted at them.

Three days have past since the battle at Kasa Island, and emotions are high. If Luffy wasn't sitting on the figure head, he was being snippy and pacing. He couldn't understand why they couldn't go back for Y/N. No matter how much they tried to  explain it to him, it just never clicked. He was straightforward with what he felt and what he wanted. He was angry they couldn't go back when it felt like nothing was stopping him. He was one of the Four Emperors, no? So why couldn't he just go  back? Fighting wasn't his problem, he just faced and beat Kaido. Everyone was on different pages, and the days felt longer as the days continued to pass with no sign or word for, Y/N.

With so many mixed and heightened emotions, the happy and brightness of the day taunted them.

Nami and Robin were sitting at the table on the second floor, trying to soak in the sun away from the rest of the crew. Everyone was silently doing their own things, trying to work through it all on their own. The heavy emotions from everyone made them feel sluggish and snippy as well. Nami looked over to the front of the ship and saw Luffy. She sighed. The drink Sanji brought her was barely drank, the ice cubes already melted.

"You alright?" Nami looked at Robin and placed her drink back on the coaster, having no energy to take a sip. She rested her chin on her propped up hands and sighed again.

"I just wish we had a better answer for Luffy." Robin hummed in agreement, casting a sorrowful look at Luffy.

"If we go back, it'll be dangerous for us. Luffy may be strong, but CP-0 isn't a group we can mess with right now. We just finished fighting against Kaido not long ago, and Luffy fought with everything he had to take him down through multiple fights." Nami nodded and leaned back in her chair.

"Now that they know Y/N's with us as well, it puts a target on us. They'll expect her to come back and if she does, it could be another battle."

"One we'll be ready for, but I don't think they'll come after us anyway." Nami turns around and sees Jimbei coming over to them. He's been the anchor for this crew, calming Luffy down when he gets too fired up. She tilts her head.

"What do you mean?"

"Y/N has been on the run from them for awhile. After a fight like this, they'll assume she'll back away from us and do one if two things." He holds up two fingers to emphasize his point. "She'll either head back to her crew to recover and/or regroup, or she'll stay alone for awhile." Robin places her hand on her chin and hums.

"That makes sense. Whenever I saw her at the Revolutionary Army, she was always alone. They're going to put two and two together now that Y/N is really Red, and they'll follow Red's pattern, which is her traveling alone."

"But why does she travel alone? Her answer before sounded a little off." Nami pipes up, trying to visualize the full picture.

"My guess is because she doesn't want to get caught and put her crew at risk for one."  Robin and Nami look at Jimbei. "She cares about her crew and from what I remember, she actually has a good relationship with almost all the 7 Warlords and a connection with the past and present Emperors." Nami gasps, placing a hand over her mouth.

"I didn't know she had a relationship with the Warlords and Emperors."

"It makes sense." Robin chimes in. "She wants to end the World Government along with the Celestial Dragons. She has the same goal as the Revolutionary Army and she often had meetings with Dragon. By creating all these connections..." She blinks, the pieces slowly falling into line. "She can start a war."

"And win at that. If she travels alone she builds connections and can bring everyone together while her crew acts as a home base for her. Her frontline." Jimbei adds. Nami screams a little in frustration.

"So what do we do now? Do we really go back? What if we get an even bigger target on our back because she could have been kidnapped under our alliance and someone targets us, like a warlord." Jimbei laughs and ruffles her hair.

"I wouldn't worry about that. Who we really need to worry about is her crew. News on the fight will probably spread soon, and I'm sure they'll be after us." She jumps up.

"THAT DOESNT MAKE ME FEEL BETTER!" She falls down on the floor and cries. Robin chuckles at her.

"Well, we can only wait for our demise to come it seems." Nami continues to sob as Jimbei laughs at Robin's dark comment.

Jade's POV

It was utter chaos on the Red Pearl.

"Jade! What are we going to do! Captain's identity is out and she's probably laying dead somewhere in a ditch!" The Twins run around me while crying. They have a very emotional connection to our captain, so it's no surprise they were upset.

Me? I was angry. I had a permanent scowl painted on my face.

The coos dropped off the newspaper just a few minutes ago, and the news in it was like a page ripped out of a book about our worst nightmare. Right there front and center was an updated picture for Y/N with a caption talking about how her and Red are the same person. Her wanted posted is a picture of her face, her new bounty set to Only Alive and 2.5 billion berries. It was originally 1.5 billion, but the new change in identity pushes her bounty up higher, making it very noticeable to everyone how important this reveal is.

"Jade. What do you want to do?" I crumple the paper in my hand and let my arm dropped to my side. I turn my head and look at Jenna.

"We go and find the Straw Hats. Now."

Y/N's POV

You open your eyes and cough. Your body was stiff and achy, your throat and mouth drier than a desert. You slowly sit up and hold you head. You were exhausted.

Your wounds were closed up and the bruises weren't as dark anymore, but you were far from being recovered. You'd need another few days of rest, days you didn't have.

It was dark in the cave, so you couldn't tell what time it was, and you for sure couldn't tell how many days have passed. If you were lucky, only three days like you guessed. You created a small fire where your last one was before you passed out. The warmth was very welcoming.

You use your Devil Fruit powers to bring over the bag of resources. You grabbed one of the canteens of water and chugged all of it. You sighed out of relief, the water making your body slowly begin to come back to life. It was amazing what some water could do. Your stomach growled and you took out some crackers, looking for something light to see how your body would react. It was bland, but it didn't sit like a rock in your stomach.

After your snack you laid back down, your body pulsing, asking you to lay back down. Your eyes felt heavy. Sleep was whispering sweet nothings in your ears, and you were tempted to listen to it. You took a deep breath and fought against it as best as you could, but you couldn't keep your eyes open for very long.

You let your eyes close and your thoughts wander. You hoped the Straw Hats were okay. You have no idea how many CP-0 members were really there. More could've been laying in wait. And what about your crew? News of the fight would spread by now, your bounty for sure would be updated. You sighed and felt your heart beat start to slow, but beat strong and loud. You shook the thoughts away abd let your mind quiet.

'Just one more day. That's all I need.'

You took a deep breath in and let sleep cover you in its sweet embrace, welcoming it gratefully.
