Reunion

This is probably how I imagined Aurora to look like.

"A day later"

Aurora's POV

I could not have fathomed Leo's sudden arrival at the Starfall pack, let alone meeting him the way I did. We may not know each other at all, but something made us feel like we were connected in some way.

Yesterday, according to Lisa and the alphas, both Leo and I had been staring at each other for a total of forty minutes or more. That is, until Cody pulled Leo into his arms, breaking whatever trance we were in. After that, they left. As for me, last night I was restless, wanting to meet Leo once more.

Right now, it is about ten in the morning. I talked with the alphas to meet up again today a little later, but as you can see, I couldn't wait that long. I am actually on their doorstep, contemplating whether to knock or not. Sigh You know what, forget it, I am doing this.

With my mind made up, I proceeded to open the door, but to my surprise, it opened before I could reach for the doorbell. Leo's face poked out. He smiled widely and pulled me into a bone-crushing hug. What the heck?

"Is it true?" he suddenly spoke.

"Hmm?" I tilted my face a little.

"Is it true that you are my cousin? My actual cousin?" he held on to me even more as he spoke.

"Yeah, I am. It is truly incredible to finally meet you, my baby cousin," I hugged him back. I repeatedly blinked to keep myself from letting my tears fall.

"Oh God, how is this possible? Why now?" he spoke with a cracked voice.

I had no words to voice out, so I just gently stroked his hair. His legs gave out, and we dropped to our knees and silently cried happy tears for finally reuniting at last.

"About 8pm"

"Oh my, really?" Leo spoke, clutching his tummy from all the laughing he's done.

"Yeah! Auntie chased both of us with a wooden spoon in her hand!"

After we finally cleared up, we decided to spend time with each other. I took him all over the pack like Matt did, but this time, I actually introduced him to other Starfall pack members. I only left out the fact that he is to be mated to the alphas; it's not my place.

During the time we spent with each other, a lot happened. For instance, when we took a break at a restaurant, Leo let out a loud burp, and also when we raced each other and I miraculously won, even though I was running in heels. The fun we had today was like we were never separated. I hope we can be like this for a very long time.

Like yesterday, we ended our outing at the pack daycare again. The children were all gone by now, so it was just me and Leo. Leo asked me about any lovely memories I had about our family, so here we are laughing about memories. We sat on the kid swings the daycare had.

"Anyway, what made you come here with those two?" I asked.

I mean, the topic was going to pop up sooner or later, so why not bring it up now?

"Well, there was this woman with an insanely strong wolf or whatever that thing is," he replied.

"Hmm," I hummed in response. I should have known.

"Do you want to know who she is?"

Leo's eyes widened in surprise and he gave a quick nod. Guess I'm going to do this. I stopped my swing and got off, then proceeded to stop Leo's. I took his hand, and we made our way to the big sandbox and got in it. Gently laying on the sand on my back, I motioned Leo to do the same. I took deep breaths to prepare for what was about to happen.

"I'll start from the beginning, is that okay?"

"Yeah," he replied.

I whispered an incantation, then a light formed above us. With the help of the light, I planned on showing the events that occurred as much as I could remember them. The first picture came into view and that was the start of the movie.
