Look at Leo being so cute. Please remember to leave a comment. Don't forget to follow! 😊😉

Aram's POV

"Why did you take so long?" I asked the twins. It took a very long time to find them.

"I went to the library to return the books we borrowed," Matthew answered for Sophie and himself.

I just shrugged and walked ahead of them.

"Something is not right," Liam said after we had been walking for a few more minutes. That caused me to stop.

Liam was not much of a talker. Most of the time, he kept to himself. And when he did talk to me, it would involve Leo's safety, mostly anything that displeases Leo in short. We were in the middle of the school's main hallway.

"What are you talk...," I tried to speak with Liam but Sophie grabbed my attention.

"And what's wrong with you?" Sophie snapped her fingers in front of my face. She tilted her face to the side.

"Eh, why did you stop suddenly?" Matthew chimed in. He looked at me with a worried expression, waiting for an answer.

"It was Liam, he said something is wrong," I spoke. I picked my pace as I headed to the car.

"Is it Leo? Liam never talks to u...," I cut him off as soon as the car was in view.

"Shit," I cursed out. My hands flew to my head, then pulled on my hair. Panic rose as Leo wasn't in the car.

"Hey, are you okay? And what the hell? Why did you leave the car door open?" Sophie asked as she grabbed onto my arm.

"I came to pick you up with Leo. But he isn't in the car. We need to find him," I said.

"I'm taking control," Liam said quickly.

Before I could respond, the intruding presence pushed me to the back of my mind. Over the years, he learned to take control without my permission. When we discussed it, he said, and I quote, "It is so that when you don't react fast enough to a threat to Leo, I can be there to save him." I just relaxed and watched as the wolf started doing whatever he was thinking.

Liam's POV

"Aram, are you alright?" Sophie said still attached  to my arm.

"Shut up! I'm trying to focus," I said a little harshly. She slowly let go of me and backed away.

"I don't think that's Aram. Look," Matthew said to his sister. He said the last part pointing to my now yellow eyes. Sophie gasped slightly upon noticing the change.

II ignored their rambling and focused on my main target. Closing my eyes, I tilted my face upward and took a deep breath. An image of Leo hastily getting out of the car formed in my mind. I had this ability to form a visual just by the scent of an animal. Not to brag but I'm one of the best tracker woles.

Hey, Leo stepped out of the car. Was he searching for something? I wondered. He then lifted his head to sniff and off he went.

I finally opened my eyes to find the twins looking at me. I just rolled my eyes and headed the way Leo went.

I stopped then turned to the twins, "Are you coming or not?" I said with an irritated tone. They simply ran after me, and once they were beside me, I resumed my quick steps.

I did not expect Leo to walk such a distance. We had been walking for about 30 minutes now. I quickly stretched my arms to stop the twins.

"Why did we stop, is he here?" Matthew questioned. Just as I put a finger on my lips, signaling for quiet, a loud cry sounded from a nearby corner..

The cry was Leo's, I have heard him cry many times. My instincts to protect Leo kicked in which caused me to sprint to the source of the crying.

"No. this cannot be true!" Leo shouted as he cried. What on earth happened to him?

A ginger-haired man lowered himself to be the same level as Leo. Before he could hold Leo, I pushed him aside and stood in front of the wailing Leo.

"Get the fuck away from him!" I shouted with a powerful voice.

The people around just stood there as the event took place. They didn't bother to help a person crying in the middle of the sidewalk. What bitches!

"What! Don't you have anything better to do? Haven't you seen some with eye contacts like this," I yelled at them. What truly annoyed me was that they stood there like deer in headlights.

Leo's cries brought me back to whatever state I was in. I proceeded to pick him up, and before I could leave, the ginger-haired man spoke, "How dare you touch what's ours" He said.

I just rolled my eyes and continued walking with the twins behind me. An overwhelming aura of dominance flooded my surroundings, so I turned back to look at the men. Both of their eyes were the deepest red I have ever seen.

"You are in the presence of two alphas, so show some respect, you filthy dog!" The ginger-haired man spoke, dominance seething each word as he spoke.

"Unhand our mate now," His voice lowered, which made him scarier.

I wanted to abandon Leo and submit to them, but the crying man in my arms clutched a handful of my shirt and continued to cry. So I fought my urge and quickened my pace to the car.

"Bring him back now!" He shouted and attempted to run to us, but the other man stopped him and shook his head no.

"But he's our mate. After so many years of searching, we found him. I'm not letting him go!" He said to the man in front of him. His eyes were threatening to water.

I glanced slightly at the other man caressing the ginger-haired man's cheek with his big hand. "It is alright, love," he said. The last thing I heard was, "No wolf will stop us from reaching our mate, no one."

Aram's POV

Right now we were on our way home, Liam gave back control as soon as we reached the car. I tried asking him who those guys were, but he did not give me any answers. I guess he knew nothing.

Furthermore, I glanced at the review mirror to see Leo still crying loudly. The twins did what they could to console him and talk to him, but it was no use. All they can do is hug him as he continues his cries.

Just what the hell happened? Why would people Leo just met not long ago cause him so much pain in a matter of minutes? I need answers and I need them now!
