The weekend seemed to have flown by this time, as Lucious somewhat dreaded having to go back into the office on a gloomy Monday morning.
Right now, he was holding a glass of champagne in his hands while in the meeting room. Other employees conversed with each other, some picking away at food items that decorated the long table in the center of the room.
Violet stood beside him, holding her champagne glass as if it was given to her against her will. She didn't take a single sip of it, but instead stared at the carbonated bubbles float to the top of the glass as a distraction to keep her from having to make eye contact with other employees.
"You know, I've never really found office things like this to be exciting." Said Lucious.

"Oh..." Violet said. "It's just that, yes, it's a great thing that since I've entered the company, our number of sales has gone up, but this just seems like such a bland way of celebrating it." He said.
"So...what would you do to celebrate it, Sir?" Violet asked. "Hm, maybe a nicely sized banquet hall. Some real food and maybe some jazz.." He said.

He then looked over at her. "And perhaps a generous amount of gin." He joked, then looking down at her.
