Two And A Half Months Free

[]

Violet stuck by Lucious' side like glue on this gloomy morning. They were heading up the steps of a popular medieval art museum, and he seemed to be far more excited about it compared to her.

It's not about museums being deemed 'boring' or 'uneventful' for her, but it was about the crowd. Most museums don't get packed with people but a steady flow of traffic. Violet was apprehensive of this.

She gripped Lucious' arm tightly as they walked towards the entrance, her eyes darting towards every person that brushed by them. The September breeze gave them fresh air to breathe. Lucious whispered to her calmly. "I understand it's a new place. But it's not as crowded as you think. Museums are very large. But if it becomes too much, we can leave. Okay?" He asked. She nodded.

Violets eye-darting didn't stop once they got inside, and Lucious had to gently redirect her to some of the art. "You're missing a world separate from this one." He joked, gently placing his hand on her upper back and turning her towards a large portrait in the middle of a room.

Violet stared, admiring as many pieces of it as she could. "But what does it mean?" She asked. "This one was done by an anonymous artist without a title." Said Lucious. "So...a stranger did it?" She asked. Lucious chuckled at her worried expression. "Why are you making it seem so ominous?" He asked.

"Come on, I can show you my favorite part of this museum. I think you'll like it too." He said, turning away. Violet spoke quietly but quickly. "Can I...hold here..?" She asked, referring to his arm. "Sure, I don't mind." Lucious replied. She wrapped her arms around one of his, seeking security. She lied her head onto his shoulder as well.

"Is it the food court?" She asked in a pitched tone. He looked down at her. "Did you just call me fat?" He asked. "No..!" She said, smiling. He laughed.

Over the past month and a half, Lucious was still unsure of what to do with the information he received about Violets past relationships. He and Violet continued to grow closer, and he held his tongue about what he found out.

He didn't treat her differently, but instead wanted to try to treat her even better than he did before. He didn't want to be a man who intimidates her or makes her feel less than. Maybe there was something going on with her that caused her to admire this dangerous generalization of men.

Violet has become so close to Lucious that she would ask if she could spend the night at his house when it was hard for her to sleep. And each time, he would strategically hide his kinky toys and tools in places she wouldn't be able to find them.

She even trusted him to start leaving the bedroom door unlocked. She'd spend the weekends with him, and they would watch movies or cook together. They'd go out to dinners or simple events. They'd shop together and walk around the city together.

Putting her head onto his shoulders and snuggling against one of his arms seemed natural, now. She did it any chance she could. She said it made her feel less overwhelmed and soothed her. And while she'd do that, her hair would block her face very often. Lucious would reach up and tuck it behind her ear for her. He had no idea how or when that started.
