Lucious pulled up slowly into a parking spot, and Violet stared in curiosity through the window at the title of a restaurant about twenty feet away. "Benihana...?" She mumbled. "Have you heard of this place before?" He asked. She nodded, but still seemed confused. "I think so...but I don't know anything about it..." She said. "Perfect." Lucious said, then getting out of the car.

Violet exhaled in hesitation as she waited for him to walk to the other side. He opened the door and waited for her to step out. Once she did so and they began to walk towards the building, Violet suddenly stopped. "W-wait...is it crowded?" She asked. Lucious shook his head.

"No. I made sure that the reservations are for a less busier time. We will likely be at a table alone." He said. "L-likely...?" she asked, following behind him.

Violet was intrigued by the decor of the restaurant and the booth seating. "Usually, you would be at a booth with other people, but because of the time of our reservation we can just sit here alone." Lucious said. Violet nodded. "

Violet noticed a large metal plate that stretched out in the center of the booth. "What's this...?" She asked. "It's a cooking plate." Lucious said. "So...they cook the food in front of you?" She asked. "Yes. It's a whole performance on its own. You'll see. No need to feel nervous." Lucious said. She nodded. "Okay..." She said shyly, looking over at him.

Violet gasped while the chef poured oil onto the cooking plate, causing a streak of flames to enter into the air.

Her eyes seemed to light up at the performance, watching closely in amazement as the chef tossed utensils around and conducted tricks using the foods.

Once the chef would finish a trick, they would place the food item onto the plates of the guests. One of the most popular tricks that Violet really loved was when the chef created a perfect heart out of fried rice. After that, he stuck the spatula underneath it to the center, and tapped the handle a few times to imitate a heard beating for her.

She smiled, the clasping her hands together and placing them underneath her chin. Lucious looked over at her, making sure that she enjoyed what she was seeing. Although, he did feel a little awkward about the heart trick, as it was done on the chefs own accord, not as a request. He hoped that it didn't give off the wrong impression.

Once the chef was done, he cleaned up and left them alone to eat. "So, how did you feel about the performance?" He asked her. "I liked it a lot...I wish that I could have came here sooner..." She said. "Better late than never, right?" Lucious asked, and she nodded.

"What was your favorite part?" He asked her, taking a spoonful of his shrimp fried rice. Violet thought for a moment, squinting her eyes to do so. "I...liked the heartbeat the most. It was cute..." She said, then curling her lips.

He wondered if he should have mentioned that it wasn't something that he planned. But perhaps it didn't matter to her. He stayed silent about it.
