Lucky indeed. I took the book and walked back to the house, where I curled up on an old rocking chair and began to read.
'This message is for any nutball player who reads this book.'
Player? What does this guy think? Like, this isn't no videogame or anything.
'All who read this book are in danger of me.
Stupid Notch, I AM real. And stop ranting about removing me, I'm ALWAYS there.'
Okay.. Good start...
'But enough about.. Notch...brother... I am more concerned about You.
This world you live in, and my world, are one and the same.
Notch just forcefully opened the door.
Our worlds are one, you visit me with your little avatar, and I visit you... Well, you'll know.
Minecraft, is Earth.
Earth is Minecraft.
THERE IS NO EARTH.
Your life is an illusion,
Visit,
Visit forever.
No escaping my type.
Creepypasta,'
And the rants and messages go on and on, but one word caught my eye.
Creepypasta.
That seems to be what Herobrine thinks he is, anyways.
Eh, I'll just call them all Creepypastas.
I went back down to the maple tree, so that I could tell Penn of my discovery. She was way up in the branches, overlooking the property, I guess.
"Hey, Penn!" I called.
She looked down, smiled, and worked her way down. Once she got to the bottom branch I helped her down.
"Oh, um.." She blushed slightly. "Thank you."
"You just looked like you needed help." I said with a rather straight face.
"Oh, right. What do you have to show me?" Penn asked.
I was going to tell her everything about the book, the rants, the warnings, the term Creepypasta, but I never had the chance. I felt the colour drain from my face as I saw the goggled man running up from behind her, with his hatchet..
All I had time to shout was
"Run Penny!!"
She turned, and screamed awful loud, but got the message. We both ran swiftly back towards the house.
As we ran, Cody just came out. I saw the glint in his eye as he looked past us and at the man chasing us. He took out... His own hatchet.. And daringly approached the goggled man.
