"We never checked the barn?"

"Never."

"Never ever?"

"Yes."

Oh... No...

After everything we've been through, I'm not going near that barn.

It's creepy, an old, metal building with a large sliding door. The floor within is made of dirt, soggy dirt that you could sink in. In one corner there is stall, probably for a milking cow, though now it is empty and useless. Not to mention the barn is dark, and looks as if it would fall apart.

Of course, I have little say. Antonio is our leader, he makes the decisions.

"Well.. I know this is risky, but perhaps we might have to go in. Who knows? There might be something useful in there."

I walk in and attempt to argue.

"But Antonio, what if there was some guy in there just waiting for us to go in? I'm not coming."

What you guys talking bout? " Penny says as she enters the room.

"We are planning to go into the shed." Explained Antonio.

"But Merry is being a chicken and not joining us."

"I'm not being a chicken!" I retaliate angrily. "I'm just saying.."

"Aubrey is a chicken!" Pen says.

"I know you peed yourself when we were listening in on that conversation.."

"Aww.. Poor wittle Mewwy peed himself?"

"Shut.. Up... Antonio..." I say coldly, and steaming with anger and embarrassment.

"Fine. I will go to the barn with you tonight, Antonio. But don't say I didn't warn you about what could happen in there."

"Tonight? I thought we would be doing it in... Okay then, Merry, we will go in, Tonight.

So it was decided. Antonio, Penny and I will enter the shed, while Cody stays behind, because of his injury.

:time skip to later, a little after sundown:

We walked to the barn carefully, taking good watch for anything around. It's not like we didn't learn from the last couple days.

From our caution, it did take us alittle to get to the barn, but we did get there. Antonio opened the barn and we all looked inside.

Empty, utter, blackness.

" So... Um, who wants to make a torch? " Antonio asked us. We stared at each other for a couple seconds, then Pen walked off to the wood pile to collect a branch and some brush to make a torch. Antonio already had matches.

"You know, Antonio?" I asked timidly.

"There were lanterns in the house."

"They could have been put more to use if they were here now. We will use the torches."

I looked suspiciously into the darkness. I thought I heard something, or , perhaps, saw something move...

"Did ... Did you see something move?"

Hmm? What, Merry?"

"Did you.."

"Got some torches!" Pen called out happily to us from the fog.

We both cried out, and held each other. Pen laughed at us.

"Wow.. For once you guys are both admiting your scared!" If only I had a camera..."

"Shut it, Pip." Antonio said boredly as he let go of me and lit the match. The torch lit up and began to eat up the fuel.

"We better not take to long, this torch wont last forever." Antonio said, before stepping into the barn. We followed, not wanting to be alone.

The barn ain't all that big, but it isn't tiny either. I relaxed my mind to see that no one was inside the barn, from what I could see. Just a normal, empty barn..

Just a normal, empty, barn...

Eww.. What is this.. Liquid, that dripped on my shoulder?

Just a normal.....empty.... B..barn......

"..did you hear something?" Pen asked.

The hairs on the back of my neck prickled when she said that, and , I slowly looked up...

Above us...

We're two men....

The masked man...

From the basement...

And...

That other guy..

J..Jeff....

"My god.."

The two jumped down from the rafters. Now they were in our way to the exit.

"Um.. RUN, RUN , RUN!! " Antonio screamed at us, and we ran towards the far side of the barn.

There was a cobblestone wall in the way.

"We're cornered! What could we do now, Antonio?" Pen cried out franticly.

"Die? Attempt to climb the wall? I don't know!" He cried back.

Keeping in my fear, I raked my brain for anything that could help us get out. I thought for sure there was a door here, on this side...

"Aubrey, look!" Pen exclaimed.

"There looks like a door there!"

I looked up,

"There closer!" Antonio screamed.

I looked up, and there was a doorway,

Though it was on top of the wall.

"Antonio!" I called out.

"Antonio we found a door! Could you boost us up?"

"What!? I could, perhaps, but what about me? And maybe those dudes over there?"

I looked across the barn. Jeff and the masked man were way closer than before, but are coming towards us at a slow rate. I think they think we are hopelessly cornered, and are trying to scare us.

"Just do it, Antonio!" Penny cried.

Antonio sighed, despite the situation, and and lifted Pen piggy back. She quickly clambered up the wall to the doorway. A knife was thrown at her, but missed.. Barely. Pen screamed. Antonio then lifted me up the same way, and I, with more difficulty, got on the top.

"Geez, your heavy, Mer." Antonio commented.

"No time for that now, come on!"

Penny grabbed one of his arms, and I grabbed the other, and we both began to pull. Talk about me being heavy, Antonio, your super heavy.

Jeff grinned bigger than before, only being several feet away from all of us. We pulled harder, making a little more progress.

Jeff is speeding up. He is now only inches away from being able to touch Antonio.

We gave one last big pull, and let go of Antonio.
