He just... Kind of stared at us, not really doing anything. The static was gone now, and fear was no longer quite as intense. The Sender's tenticles were also gone.

He then teleported off, to where? I can't say. I didn't have much to say about this game either.

"Come on, Penn. We have to get more firewood, Antonio probably still wants a barbeque."

"Okay, but think, we were very lucky I got that last page before anything happened to us."

We collected the firewood and made the fire. Antonio, for some reason, did not question our lateness. Venison was our dinner that night, and apples.

Finally it occurred to Antonio that we were out way longer than we could have, kind of.

"So," he asked "you guys must of had a problem with the wood, eh? You guys took your time."

"That? Oh, nothing happened, " I answered.

"We were just looking for firewood for you, then got chased by the Slenderman, looked for his pages, and got pills from a pair of kind of strangers. Yes, we had a very hard time looking for firewood."

Antonio's eyes got bigger.

"Merry, why didn't you say anything?"

"You never asked!" Penn and I answered in unison.

"Oh."

"Wow, Antonio. How did you not notice anything? No, actually, why don't you do anything? All you do is wait in the house for us to finish your work. Why?"

Antonio looked at me all hard, then stared back at the fire.

"Now don't be going on about me doing nothing, Mer, I do do stuff too!"

"Oh, really?" Penn asked, voice rising with growing anger.

"We were out there, Aubrey and I, collecting pages for some demented game in which losing means death, and what were you doing? Dusting off the furniture? Huh? This place is crawling with killing machines, Toni, and you aren't doing anything about it!"

"Nothing? Huh? Well it isn't like everything your doing is making a difference!"

Even I was getting pissed off. Penn is right, Antonio never does anything, nothing. But it isn't like what we are doing is changing it either.

"You guys are both right, now shut your traps! I shouted angrily.

"Stop calling each other shit for not doing anything! You two are both right! You two don't do shit! Only one person did serious damn shit, and it was.. It was.."

"Oh, so now your saying your the only one who does anything? Bullshit, stupid hobbit!"

Penny screamed back at Antonio.

"Aubrey does do more than us! He actually tries to find ways to stop these people, by learning about them and looking for there weaknesses, and-"

"But that isn't doing anything! Pippin, stop being such a bitch!!"

Antonio rose to his full height, which is considerably taller than both of us because of how petite we are, and with a quick motion had Penny lifted a couple inches off the ground..

..by her neck.

I couldn't let this go farther.

"Stop it, Antonio! What I was saying is,"

My voice became a little more shrill

"Cody is the only one of us who tried to do something!"

And everything was still,

Just mentioning Cody's name.

Antonio put Penn down gently.

"I'm.. I'm sorry, Penny! I.. I don't know what came over me!"

"No, don't mind it." I said, maybe for Penn, and kind of coldly.

"We all haven't been doing much, and I know its not out of laziness. We're just to nervous to stand up."

Antonio nodded, and Penn changed the subject.

"Now, guys. It's been a long day, now lets all have some rest..."
