:flashback:
Jennifer was always outside at the time, so she was always able to see it, especially at her younger cousins' farm house, where it would set under the mound in the distance. She had tooken the boys out this time, so they could see it too.
"See Auby? Cody? Isn't the sunset pretty?"
She would get a happy response from Aubrey, but Cody would just stare into it, saying nothing.
She had always noticed Cody was different from the rest of his family. If his shaggy, brunette hair that cover his left eye wasn't enough, his personality pointed it out.

I made it to the stream, then crouched down.

A buck had made its way there, where it drank peacefully from the stream. I slowly approached it...

Then all of a sudden, there was a blur of something humanoid slamming into the deer. The buck screamed in pain, and collapsed from the weight.

I quickly retreated to a nearby shrub. The figure now got up and brushed herself off. In her right hand, she had a large pair of scissors, dripping in deer blood.

Her mask was white and knit, with two button eyes. When she removed her mask to adjust her fiery, red hair...
