Chapter 10 secrets on kyoshi islands

Shoto(pov)
"Zuko wake up, come one little turtleduck. It time for breakfast." Shoto said to younger sibling. While gently shaking him. "I'm u-p just 10 more minutes." Zuko said sleeply. "Come on do we want me to send lala in to wake you up." Shoto threatened.

Immediately zuko shot up from bed, while yelling "I'm up I'm up." Shoto snickered slightly. "Good now wash your face. And get downstairs, I am making pancakes with hot chocolate syrup." Shoto said to his younger siblings before exiting his room. He then went downstairs and then headed to the kitchen. He washed the pans and then put some batter on it and then lighted the stove with hie hand.

He quickly began cooking pancakes and then placing them on the plate one after the other with practiced ease. He then got two other plates and stacked pancakes on each of them. He then finished it off with placing syrup on top on the pancakes. With exception of zuko on which he placed hot choco syrup. He then placed them on a tray and went to the dining hall. Azula and zuko were waiting.

Azula looked compelety awaked and freshed. While zuko looked he was still abit drunk of sleep. He then served their breakfasts. They quickly got there utensils and began eating their breakfast. "So I am going to kyoshi island for cashing on some revenue. Do the two of you want to come ?" Shoto asked blankly. While he was eating his own breakfast. "Sorry sho-sho I taking a rain check on this one. I am just gonna sit these one down." Azula with an interested tone. While she lazily ate her pancakes.

"I am going with you. It been ages since I got a good spar with the kyoshi warriors. I bet this time I can finally beat suki." Zuko said excitedly. "It's okay to have stupid dreams zuzu." Azula snakred at her sibling. "Hey I totally beat her last time." Zuko said defensively. "You two fought till a standstill that lasted 3 hours zuzu. And in the end both of you fainted. So it doesn't count." Azula retorted. Zuko just grumbled at her.

"Easy let's not have fights over silly matters. Zuko we are leaving in an hour. Be ready by then." Shoto said to him. Zuko mumbled something about getting his swords and then promptly left. He himself left to pack for the journey.

An hour later
The both of them were at the docks. "So you got everything you need ?" Azula asked him. Shoto nodded. "Good, try not to get kidnapped by pirates. The last time that happened it was really annoying." Azula added. "That was one time." Zuko shouted. "Okay lala we will be back by mid day. Try not to burn anyone or anything." Shoto instructed. "Of course I'm not like zuzu mindlessly throwing my flames." Azula teased. Zuko gave an indignant 'hey'.

"Oh tell suki to hands his ass to him." Azula said with sweet honey tone voice. "I will be sure she receives the message." Shoto said to her. Before he entered the ship along with zuko. As the ship sailed, zuko was standing left to him talking with some merchants. He let his shoulders relax for a moment. He stared at the water. His usual pale face with the red scar marking his face appeared before him. His obsidian raven hair also was present.

It tooked him awhile to get used to looking at the mirror and finding his hair to be black instead of red and white hair. It was necessary that he dyed his hair so no one could spot him. But he sometimes missed having white and red hair. He then thought of all that changed in the last 3 to 4 years.

Don't get him wrong he loved that his siblings could finally go around being normal children having fun. Without having to deal with the pressures of the court. While making friends and learning things outside all the propaganda. While also experimenting and trying out new things. But he also missed certain things from the palace. He missed the carnivals and festivals of the capital along with parades. He also miss his non bending master Piandao and fat. Out of all the teachers and mentors he had. He was the only that held any amount of respect for. As his mind danced around the past.
