Shoto(pov)
"Rise shine Avatar Aang and katara. Both of you have a long day of learning ahead of you." Shoto said loudly. While the two of them still looked tired from all the blood transfusion and vials of chemical names and healing properties that they had committed to their memorise last night. Even after breakfast had passed both still looked depraved of sleep. Katara yawned, while Aang was rubbing his eyes.

"Hurry up now change into your healer robes. Today you're gonna observe how to heal people properly using blood bending." Shoto instructed them. As he handed them their robes. Katara went in first and changed into her white robes. Aang followed soon after, going to the changing room and coming back in his white robes. He then took a seat besides katara. As he watch Shoto bring out a box. Which he then opened to reveal a pair of sharp surgical knives that looked eerily similar to knitting needles.

"These are called thalosha, these are surgical knives that are loosely based on knitting needles." Shoto explained. "Why knitting needles ?" Katara asked him. "Simple you see these knifes were made to serve two purposes. One is too perform regular surgery. The second is too serve as a medium to controlled blood bending in miniscule portions." Shoto explained. "To put it simply it makes it eaiser for blood benders to perform delicate and intricate surgical producers. Regulating the flow of blood during difficult and simple surgical process alike. But for now we aren't doing any of that. I am here to teach you the basics of sarkos techne. This will have to wait for now at least." Shoto explained.

"Take a breather both of you 40 minutes each. We'll began treating a whole host of patients. And it might get overwhelming so take a moment to mentally prepare yourself." Shoto instructed them. "Whilist I prepare the tools." Shoto added soon after. "How many patients will we treat ?" Katara asked him. "That will be seen for later. I believe it would be best if both of stay in the adjacent rooms. While I set everything up." Shoto told her. While sorting different vials and chugs of liquid.

Timeskip-40 minutes later
Katara and Aang were in middle of talking in one of the spare rooms. "That when kuzon tricked the smugglers so I could rescue the dragons egg." Aang finished his story. But before katara could respond. Shoto opened the door, saying "Both of you operating table now." "Coming." Both katara and Aang responded at the same time.

They both rushed into the operating room. And saw a man who was tied to operating chair. "This operation requires your full cooperation. You need to remain calm as me and my apprentices take care of your injury." Shoto requested. The man nodded in yes.

"Good, katara Aang go to the opposite side of the chair." Shoto ordered them. They followed his commands. And stood beside the man and right infront of him. "This man right here has been bitten by a prickle snake. The venom will cause major internal bleeding, loss of motory functions and many more if not treated at this very moment." Shoto words cause the atmosphere to tense.

"First thing katara place you hand over the key chakra point nearing his chest. Try to sense posion if it's travelling through such a major blood vessels you'll eventually locate it." Shoto instructed her. She followed his ordered and tried to locate the posion. But she was meet with struggles. "Ugh I just can't do it. I can't find the posion anywhere." Katara said as frustration mounted on her.

"Katara dear focus, don't try to bend the blood it doesn't work at morning. The chi of the body acts as a counter resistance preventing you from taking control. Instead try locate the posion it has no chi and thus can be manipulated by you." Shoto told her. She took a deep breath. And searched the body for any signs of the posion. The only thing that she felt was water refusing yield to her control. Until she found posion, she slowly bit by bit began accumulating from the heart to the shoulders in straight path.
