Sol's POVAfter crying for a while and taking a deep breath, I stared at my reflection in the mirror, marveling at how much I resembled my biological mother. My eyes held the same almond shape as hers, reflecting an intensity with just a flicker of emotion. My nose, though a bit less defined than hers, still carried that gentle straightness that seemed to blend perfectly with my features. My lips, full and naturally curved, seemed to mimic the same elegance. In every glance I caught of myself, I could see the echoes of her beauty, a reminder of who I was becoming and who I already was in this growing frame.
End of POV
Sol reunited with her biological parents. It was a bittersweet return. Despite the joy of meeting her real family, she couldn't shake off the disappointment and sadness that her parents had yet to embrace her. The lack of warmth from the family she longed to be a part of left her feeling isolated. She punched the mirror in front of her, which seemed to laugh at her fate, as the shattered pieces made noise. Several servants barged into her room, terrified by the sight before them. When they saw blood on Sol's hand, they immediately started dressing her wound. Sol didn't argue or do anything; she just pretended like it was nothing new.
Just then, Sol’s phone vibrated. She looked at it and saw a message from one of her employees:
"Boss! Big order! A super-rich guy ordered a hundred sets of clothes, a hundred bags, and a hundred pairs of shoes for his daughter, to be delivered today."
"I’ve already sent all the limited edition items from our warehouse! We’re out of stock now! When can you give me more designs? Urgent! Urgent! Urgent!"
"Three times isn’t enough for something this important!"
"Alright, waiting for your message. I’m about to arrive at the rich guy’s house. Let’s see what his daughter looks like. I hope she’s not too ugly to ruin your designs." Sol was a bit surprised and replied, "You’re delivering it yourself?"
"For such a big order, of course, I have to provide the best service! What do you think?"
After reading the message, Sol was puzzled. What kind of family would buy so many clothes and bags at once? Are they opening a store?
Sol had just finished up some work in her room and was about to kick back and relax when her door was knocked on.
"Can you come to the hallway? We need to give you something," Soohyun commanded as his eyes fell on her hand.
"What happened to your hand?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Nothing," she brushed it off.
"You should take care of yourself, little fox," he whispered, but Sol hadn't listened.
After that, they went towards the hallway, but ended up sitting in the living room. Jiwon was also sitting there with them, both of her parents looking at her from head to toe. She felt a little bit uncomfortable but just let it go.
"So, what is your favorite hobby?" Jiwon asked her.
"Making money," Sol replied. Both of her parents were surprised by her reply. How could all of them think the same? Does this run in their genes or what? Sol had no idea what they were thinking until she saw lots of servants making their way into the hall with several boxes.
On the other hand.....
At this moment, a luxury RV pulled up in front of the villa. The guard quickly stepped forward, respectfully opened the car door, and bowed, saying, “Miss Yuri, you’re finally back for summer break? It’s going to be lively here again with you around.”
