The nurse took her to another room. By observing her movements, the doctor could easily state that the girl was in clear shock; this must be the cause of her fainting. At the same time, the doctor noticed that her body was unusually pale, and it looked like she was having problems with breathing. He wanted to do some tests for further investigation, but he stopped, knowing that no one would pay for the hospital bill, so he remained quiet.

Sol's POV

It's dark. I'm seeking light. Is there anything that I can do right? Am I a God-hated child? Is that why He only lets me suffer? This darkness is going to swallow me. Can I have a little hope for my future, or is it also the same as this darkness? I'm unable to do anything. I can hear everything, but I can't do anything. My eyelids are heavy. Am I paralyzed? It hurts mentally and physically. I'm not allowed to be hurt; I deserve it...

After struggling for a while, Sol managed to stand, and without caring about her state, she went towards the room where her family was present. Looking at their happy faces from afar, the distance between them grew wider even though they were closer. Her brother noticed her presence.

"Piece of garbage here," he said, rolling his eyes in disgust. She didn't utter a single word; she was used to that kind of treatment, but today she was feeling more hurt.

"We need to find our daughter soon, honey. I don't want to look at this bitch's face anymore," Mrs. Shin said.

"Soon, darling. We just need to find out some beggars who might be her parents and throw this thing out of our house," Mr. Shin replied.

As the room got locked, the outer atmosphere changed. A bunch of doctors were shocked when the head of the hospital personally came in front of her while bowing his head down.

"Ma'am, are you alright?" he asked in a concerned tone. She didn't say anything; just looked at him with cold eyes.

"I don't want any drama right now," she replied. He realized his mistake and immediately apologized, taking her towards his cabinet.

"Miss Sol... I'm sorry for the treatment you received earlier from your parents," the head doctor said in a concerned tone, looking at her cheeks, which were red from a hard slap.

"You don't need to be sorry... it's not even your fault..."

"But still, it's your own..."

"Don't forget that walls also have ears, Dr. Lin... I don't want anyone to know about this right now, especially when I'm about to go out of this freaking hell." Sol's gaze fell on the doctor, who was trembling upon hearing her dominant voice.
