The room fell into a stunned silence.
“The Kim family? As in the Kims?” Jeonghan finally broke the silence, his voice incredulous.
“Yeah,” Woozi confirmed, swallowing hard. “The ones who control half of Seoul.”
“And we’ve been casually tracking her like she’s some random civilian?” Hoshi yelped, clutching his tiger plushie.
“The Kims are mafia royalty,” Mingyu added grimly. “This isn’t just a big deal—it’s a huge deal.”
“What the hell do we do now?” Seungkwan asked, looking from face to face. “She’s not just a random target anymore.”
“The same Kim family that controls half the city?” The8 added, setting his teacup down.
“Not just half the city,” Woozi continued. “They’re one of the most powerful mafias in the country.”
“Wait, wait, wait!” Seungkwan exclaimed, dramatically holding his head. “Are you saying Sol is that Sol? The real daughter they just found?”
DK looked around, wide-eyed. “Guys, this is big. Like, really big. What do we do now?”
“Obviously, we don’t mess with her,” Woozi said, glaring at DK. “She’s not someone we can just waltz up to and interrogate.”
Hoshi, clutching his tiger plushie, looked genuinely confused. “But… she’s just a girl, right? How dangerous can she really be?”
“VERY dangerous,” Woozi said. “The Kims are no joke, and if she’s their blood, she’s probably as ruthless as the rest of them.”
“Wait, what if she’s not like them?” Dino asked hopefully.
“She’s living with them,” Mingyu pointed out. “She’s one of them now, whether she likes it or not.”
" What we are going to do now?"
“Obviously, we call the boss,” Woozi said, already dialing Wooseok’s number.
The phone rang twice before Wooseok’s voice came through, sharp and commanding. “What is it? Did you find her?”
“We did,” Woozi said cautiously. “But, uh… there’s a slight complication.”
“Complication?” Wooseok’s voice turned cold. “What kind of complication?”
“She’s not who we thought she was,” Woozi explained. “She’s… she’s the real daughter of the Kim family.”
There was a beat of silence on the other end of the line, followed by Wooseok’s curt reply: “You’re sure about this?”
“Positive,” Woozi said. “We triple-checked everything. It’s her.”
The brothers exchanged nervous glances as Wooseok processed the information.
“Interesting,” Wooseok finally said, his voice calm but dangerous. “This changes things. The Kims are powerful, but so are we. Sol might be their blood, but she’s not untouchable.”
“What do we do now, boss?” Jeonghan asked.
“For now, we wait,” Wooseok instructed. “Don’t make any moves until I say so. Keep an eye on her but stay out of sight. If the Kims find out we’re involved, it’ll escalate into war.”
“Yes, boss,” the brothers chorused.
Before hanging up, Wooseok added, “And don’t forget—she’s still just a girl. Don’t underestimate her, but don’t overthink it, either. Our goal remains the same: control the situation.”
