The dinner had ended, and the mansion gradually fell into a hushed quiet. The gang members dispersed to different parts of the house, and Y/N slipped away to a secluded corner of the mansion’s garden, needing a moment of solitude. The night air was cool, and the stars above provided a small comfort amidst the turmoil she felt inside.

As she leaned against a stone wall, lost in thought, she heard soft footsteps approaching. Y/N turned to see Suga emerging from the shadows, his expression unreadable but his eyes intense. She straightened, instinctively on guard, knowing that nothing good could come from this encounter.

“Y/N,” Suga’s voice was low, carrying a hint of urgency, “we need to talk.”

Y/N crossed her arms, her gaze steady. “What do you want, Suga?”

He took a step closer, his tone firm but quiet, as if he were sharing a secret. “I’m with you. I know this isn’t what you wanted, being trapped here with him. But I can help you get out. I’m working on another plan, one that will give you your freedom back.”

Y/N’s heart raced at his words, but instead of the relief she might have felt earlier, there was only a heavy sense of inevitability. She shook her head, her voice soft but resolute. “No, Suga. I don’t want your help. I’m not running anymore.”

Suga frowned, his frustration evident. “You don’t understand, Y/N. This is your chance to escape, to be free of him and this life. Don’t throw it away.”

She took a step back, ready to leave the conversation behind, but Suga wasn’t finished. Before she could turn, his hand shot out, gripping her wrist firmly. “Y/N, you can’t just walk away from this.”

Y/N looked down at his hand, her eyes narrowing. “Let go of me, Suga.”

But before he could respond, a cold voice cut through the air like a blade. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

Both Suga and Y/N turned to see Jungkook standing a few feet away, his eyes dark with barely contained fury. The sight of Suga holding Y/N’s wrist sent a surge of jealousy and anger through him, even though he knew he had no logical reason to feel that way.

Y/N immediately tried to pull her hand free, but Suga held on for a moment longer, staring defiantly at Jungkook before finally releasing her. Jungkook’s jaw clenched as he stepped closer, his gaze locked on Suga. “I don’t recall asking for your interference, Suga.”

Suga’s expression was cold, his earlier concern for Y/N hidden behind a mask of indifference. “I was just talking to her, Jungkook. She needed someone who understands what she’s going through.”

Jungkook’s eyes narrowed dangerously, his voice dropping to a low, threatening tone. “She doesn’t need your help. Stay out of this.”

Suga didn’t back down, his own anger simmering just below the surface. “Maybe if you weren’t so blind to what she actually needs, I wouldn’t have to.”

Y/N, sensing the tension escalating, stepped between them, her voice firm. “That’s enough. Both of you.” She turned to Suga first, her tone leaving no room for argument. “I appreciate your concern, but I made my decision. I don’t need your help, Suga.”

Then, she faced Jungkook, who was still seething with barely suppressed rage. “And you,” she said, her voice shaking slightly with the intensity of her emotions, “stop acting like I’m your property. You have no right to be angry with me.”

Jungkook’s eyes flared with something unidentifiable—was it hurt? Betrayal?—before his expression hardened once more. “You don’t get to decide that, Y/N. Not when you’re the one being careless.”
