Two days after the meeting, Jaehyun went to Zico's office.

Jaehyun's pov:

I knocked on Zico's office and entered.

– Hyung –. I called him, but he ignored me.

I called him a few times, and upon seeing no reaction from him, I closed the door and rushed in front of him, I then slammed my hand on his desk, making him flinch and look at me.

– Oh, Hi Jaehyun- a –. He greets me.
– I want to change Yewon's partner –. I say, serious.

I can't stand her being with another idol or boy.

He looks at me perplexed –. Why? Is there a...
– She can't go with Lee Felix –. I interrupt him.
He sighs –. And why is that? Why do you suddenly care about her? –. He asks.
I sigh –. Because she has to go with me.
– Jaehyun a~... Haven't you found your soulmate? If you have, then bring her here.
– That's the thing –. I say –, I have found my soulmate.
He furrows his eyebrows –. Ok... then, why do you want to make Yewon your partner? She's not your soulmate, just... don't waste your time in a girl who isn't your soulmate.

I got mad at his statement.

How can he assume that Yewon isn't my soulmate? How dares he?

– And how do you know that? How can you assume that she isn't my soulmate if I haven't told you yet? –. I ask.
He looks at me surprised –. Don't tell me that she's your soulmate –. He chuckles.
I smile fakely and softly say –. Kim Yewon is my soulmate.

He gasped and massaged his temple.

– She can't be your soulmate –. He says –. She doesn't want a soulmate! She thinks fate is fake! She doesn't deserve to have a soulmate, especially if it's you!
– Why?! –. I'm so mad now.
– Because she doesn't care at all!
– I am her soulmate, she surely is my fan. She'll want me –. I stubbornly say.
– Even if you are her soulmate, do you think she'll want you? Do you think she'll even care about you? Will she love you? –. He asks –. You heard what she said about her string and her statement about fate and soulmates. And you're telling me that she'll care and want you?

That freaking hurt both me and my pride.

I look down and nod –. She will. And I'll make sure to change her mind about the topic. I'll make her fall for me.
He sighs –. Whatever –. Do you want to be her partner instead of Felix? Go ahead. I'll change her partner now. But, know that she's Cupid, and she'll have to change her role for your stubbornness. Don't tell me that I didn't warn you later.
– I won't.

He typed something on his computer, and some minutes later, he stopped typing and looked at me.

– Done –. He says –. Happy?
I smile sweetly and nod –. Yes. Thank you, hyung.

He rolls his eyes.

– Can you tell me something about her? Aside from her hate towards fate –. I ask.
He sighs –. Her birthday is the first of January. Her favourite colour is purple and white. What else? Ah... yes! Her favourite animal is the bear, she loves dancing and playing video games, she also likes reading –. He borely says –. What else do you want to know?

I thought for a bit.

– Has she had any boyfriends? –. I ask.

That question started to worry and bothering me since the meeting.

– Yes –. He affirms –. One. He apparently broke up with her after cheating with his soulmate and lying to her about his string. And he broke her so badly. Anything else? –. He sarcastically asks.
– What is her type?
– Ask her. I'm not a genie or a hacker to know everything about her –. He harshly replies.

I sigh and stand up.

– Ah. Your role will be a citizen as well, Yewon. You'll be a couple, and you'll also have missions and punishments, as well prizes, related to your concept. – He explains –. I told her this information too in the e-mail I wrote before.

I nod.

If our theme is a couple, and everything is related to it, it won't be that bad, right?

I mean, what's the worst punishment or mission that could exist for us?

A kiss? It wouldn't be that bad. Besides, I can't wait for her to get her string and know that I'm her soulmate.

– Ok... see you in the first day or recording –. I bowed down and turned on my heels towards the door.
Zico's voice stopped me –. Wait, the recording will be held this Saturday.

I nod again, and he dismissed me.

I left the company and went home.

How will she react when she gets to know about our theme? And mostly, when she gets her string and it guides her towards me?

I know that since both soulmates get their strings, fate pulls them towards each other, even if they don't get along.

So... Yewon a~ You can't run away from me, and you can't avoid me.

Because fate will take you to me.
