The next day, Yewon was able to leave the hospital's room.

When the nurse entered the room in the morning, she was surprised upon seeing the two soulmates hugging each other and sleeping peacefully.

Nonethless, they had to leave, so the woman woke them up.

When they were awake, Jaehyun laughed at the girl's hair, the latter looked at him confused, so he laughed even more and pointed at his head. She understood and blushed.

The nurse left after giving a brush to Yewon.

Time skip: They are now in their own houses.

Yewon's mother asked Yewon a thousand of questions as soon as the girl stepped into the house.

Yewon calmed her mother, telling her that she slept in A-young's house.

Meanwhile, Jaehyun got scared as soon as he opened his house' door as his father was waiting for him on the armchair with his arms crossed over his chest, his expression was intimidating.

Jaehyun's father was indeed furious.

The boy told his dad that he was at the school's hospital with Woonhak, as the maknae got hurt.

Of course, it was a lie, Mr. Myung looked at his son suspiciously. However, he scolded him and grounded him for two weeks without his phone.

Jaehyun knew that he had messed up and that he should've told his father that he'd be with someone in the school's hospital, but he couldn't help but it felt unfair.

He thought that being grounded for two weeks was a lot, and without a phone? How would he get to know if something happened on the campus? Or how would he talk with his friends? And Yewon? What if she called him or texted him?

He whined and somehow convinced his father to let him have his phone. But under one condition: he could only use his phone before going to the campus and in the afternoon. And his phone will be in a drawer closed with a lock.

Jaehyun was a bit happy. "At least I'll be able to communicate with the boys and Yewon." I thought.

After that, his father told him to go to his room, and the boy went upstairs without saying anything.

– I'M JUST LETTING YOU HAVE YOUR PHONE TO TALK WITH YOUR FRIENDS, NOT SOULMATE–. Mr. Myung shouted once the boy was nowhere to be seen.

Upstairs, Jaehyun huffed, annoyed and crossed his arms over his chest. He was lying on his bed, and upon hearing his father, his mood changed.

How could his father let him have his phone and talk to his friends, but not to communicate with his soulmate? His soulmate was more important than them, right? Well... he had made a big step, becoming her friend. But he couldn't talk with her.

Just... how would he talk with her? What if she texts him and he can't reply to her?

However, he decided not to listen to his father for once. He'll talk with his soulmate no matter what.

Time skip:

Yewon's pov:

I don't know how the hell does my mother know that I have found my soulmate. Like, I haven't told her yet, but she already knows?

My friends don't know either, at least I haven't told them as far as I remember. Then... how...?

I sighed, tired.

It's late and I can't sleep. I have been turning from side to side on my bed a lot of times, uncomfortable. I'm also cold, even though I'm under five blankets and the windows are closed.
