In Jaehyun's house, Myung Seora was ready to leave the house and go to Kim Haneul's house when the doorbell suddenly rang

When the woman opened the door, she got a bit starled upon seeing who it was.

Kim Haneul was in front of her door. Her state was awful —even though hers wasn't that good either.

Yewon's mother was wearing her pijama, with a jacket on top of it, her hair was messy and her red and puffy eyes, along her pink cheeks, made it clear that she has cried.

Unlike her, Seora was dressed with a uniform. Her black hair was neatly brushed and laid on her shoulders. Though she looked alright, she wasn't. Her eyes weren't puffy, but they were red. She was wearing makeup so that it covered her stained tears in her cheeks.

The other woman mirrored Yewon's mother expression, sad, tired, and without life.

—Miss Kim? What brings you here?— Jaehyun's mother asked, forcing a smile, even though it ended up being a pout.
Yewon's mother bowed down —Hi Seora. Is Jaehyun home? —. She asked.
The said woman furrowed her eyebrows and nodded —He's in his room. Why?
—Because his bond with Yewon started two weeks ago, and Yewon is now suffering. I came here to ask you how you son was.
Jaehyun's mother sighed and opened the door for the woman to enter —Come in, I was going to your house now too, but since you're here...

Yewon's mother nodded and left her shoes in the entrance before entering the house. They sat on the sofa, and some seconds later, Jaehyun's mother started to talk.

—My son is also suffering. He is very weak, and he coughs and spits blood from time to time. He can't even move his neck to look at me or speak.
Yewon's mother nodded, knowingly —. Yewon is like him.
—He has fainted. —Miss. Myung said, letting out a sob —. God. We have to do something, they don't have much time left.

Yewon's mother nodded, and they decided to bring Yewon to Jaehyun's room so that they could bond and heal.

The girl's mother was about to leave the house when Seora stopped her.

—Jaehyun has been weird since Yewon left —. The woman said —. When we brought Yewon back home and she went to his room... she suddenly came downstairs and left the house some minutes later. She didn't say anything, and neither did he. But her expression was a mix between flustered and scared, and let's not add her pink cheeks. — She explained—. Besides... as far as I know.... they haven't spoken to each other since that day. Jaehyun has been... sad and more... distracted since two weeks ago, last week, he told me that he had messed up. When Yewon left to meet secretly with that bastard, he was so worried. He even looked for her in the whole city, desesperated to find her, when he didn't, he came back home and cried until he got a call from her, that's when I left with my husband to bring her back.

Yewon's mother listened carefully to her friend's explanation. Now that she thought about it, she also noticed a shift in her daughter's behavior.

—Now that I think about it... Yewon has also been weird since she came back home. She has been more distant and distracted. —Haneul said.
—Do you think something happened between them that day?
—Yes. But whatever it is, we don't have much time —. Haneul said, standing up —. Let's go to save our kids!

Seora laughed and nodded. She stood up to bid goodbye to the other woman — even though she'd be back soon with the girl.

Some minutes later, Haneul rang the doorbell of the Myung's house again, this time, with the unconscious girl in her arms. Seora didn't take long to open the door again and let the woman in. Haneul didn't take her shoes off. She rushed inside.

Usually, it would make Seora mad if someone stepped in her house with their shoes on, but today, she didn't care. She was more worried about the two youngers' conditions.

Seora led Haneul upstairs. To Jaehyun's room and as soon as they entered the room, they gasped.

Jaehyun was as pale as snow. His fingers started to turn light blue, meaning that he was frozen slowly and that he'd die anytime and, the most worried thing was that Yewon looked the same.

Haneul laid the girl next to the boy so that her back was facing the boy and grabbed a blanket.

—Wait —. Seora said, stopping the ther woman.

Haneul looked at her confused, but she stopped. Seora approached them and positioned one of Jaehyun's arms over the girl's waist while the other arm was on the girl's left shoulder, she then pulled Yewon closer to the boy and, smirking proudly, she stepped away.

Jaehyun unconsciously put his head on the girl's neck and pulled her closer —if that was even possible,— and smiled. Meanwhile, Yewon somehow turned around and wrapped an arm over the boy's abdomen, also putting her head on the latter's chest.

Their position was almost unreal and impossible to do, but they looked so cute.

Haneul smiled along Seora and covered both of them with the blanket she had in her hands.

The soulmates' string glowed and untightened from their pinkies, stopping the pain that was causing to both of them. Even though it was invisible to the two women, a silver light illuminated the room and surrounded them both.

Both Jaehyun's and Yewon's skin turned to it's original colour, neither white nor blue could be seen in their face or body and, with each second they passed together in that position, their state improved.

The two women looked at each other shocked because they could now see their string, which obviously was silver, a non-existent, and not part of fate's colour. Now, they knew that their childs were right.

And you know what it means when other people aside from the soulmates can see their string, right?

If you hadn't realized yet, I'll tell you, their bond had finally started. They were now bonded —well, not fully, but it was something.

Seora pinched Haneul's shoulder and motioned to her that they should leave to give some privacy to the soulmates. The latter nodded, and they both left the room, smiling in happiness.

And... I won't write more for this chapter ;)

So... their mothers have seen their string ( FINALLY), and even though both Jaehyun and Yewon were going to die soon, they finally bonded and healed.

Let's look forward to their talk when they both wake up.

Even though I'm sick, I wrote this chapter and updated <3.

Thanks for your support and take care!

P.S: I probably don't update my other book this weekend as I want to focus more on this story now.
