11|Who is the mafia?

Yewon's pov:

We bought a house for 40000 wons.

Now, night has come and we all went to our houses - except the ones without a house -.

The lights of the set went off, and the only light that illuminated us was the one that was inside the houses.

Our house was like any other house, there were two rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen...

If it wasn't a set, I'd live here.

- Yewon-ah -. Jaehyun calls me.
I look at him - Yes? - I ask.
- We have to sleep
- What? But this is a game -. I furrowed my eyebrows.
- Yeah, but remember that citizens have to lay on the bed and " sleep" as the mafia will enter a house and kill someone -. He explains.

Ah, true...

He suddenly laughs.

- What? -. I ask.
He shakes his head, trying to stiff a laugh but failing -. God, you're so cute -. He smiles. He then pats my head and heads somewhere in this small house.

I stayed there perplexed.

What the hell have just happened?

Did he pat my head and call me cute?

I suddenly feel hot.

- Why is it so hot? -. I whisper, fanning myself with my hands.
- Yewon-ah!! Come fast! -. I hear his voice.
- Coming!

I stop fanning myself and touch my cheeks, hoping they're not red - or hot, as I can't see it. -.
When I'm sure that I'm not red anymore, I rush to a room.

When I opened the door, I saw Jaehyun laying on the bed.

- Hi, darling -. He says -. I see you wanted to be with me a bit more, right? -. He smiles.

I gave him an awful look - Though I wouldn't mind... -

- What are you talking about? I just came here by mistake. - I try not to sound flustered.
He smiles -. Sure~
- I... I'm leaving, yeah... ah, uh... good night? Yeah, good night -. I sutter.
He stiffed a laugh and patted the place next to him -. Come on, you can lay with me. Remember that our theme is a couple, so... let's be the couple we're supposed to be.

What?

I look at him with a " WTH " look, and he smiles.

That jerk...

I approach him and lay next to him -. I'm doing this for the show, not because you have told me to.
He covers me with the blanket and then covers himself -. I didn't say anything.

I sigh and give him my back. I think he turned the light off, and now we're in the dark.

Some minutes of silence later, Jaehyun whispers to me -. Can I hug you? I need to cuddle to sleep -. He tries to explain himself.

His voice sent me chills as he literally whispered in my ear.

I shouldn't feel this way. Hell, i shouldn't even say what I'm going to say.

I sigh -. Ok.

He quickly wrapped his arms around me and pulled me toward him.
Now, my head is almost on his shoulder instead of the pillow.

- Good night -. He whispers.
- Remember that it's the games night, not the real one. Outside, the sun is still shining -. I say.

He hums, and I know he has fallen asleep.

What do I do now? Should I sleep? Should I keep my eyes open so that I can see who the mafia is?

I slowly drifted to sleep.

No one's pov:

Joshua sneaked out of his house without his pair noticing.

The good thing is that all the houses that each pair bought were next to each other, making a neighborhood. Though, there are more houses in different locations, in the beach, near the castle... but of course, those were more expensive.

Zico asked him who he wanted to kill, and he thought for a bit, then entered Yewon's house.
Once he was in, he searched for Yewon, and when he saw her, he made his way towards her and made a red line on her left cheek with a lipstick he had in his pocket.

Upon finishing his job, the mafia sneaked out again and entered his house.

Zico then called the doctors, and they both exited their house.

The MC asked them who they wanted to save, and they saved Yewon, as Jaemin knew that she'd be killed. So, he entered her house and, seeing that he was right, he quit the red line and went back to his house.

When the doctors entered their house again, Zico called the police.

Hwang Yeji exited her house and decided to know Jaehyun's role.

When she was back in her house, the lights turned on again, and Zico called everyone.

Once everyone was out, Zico started to explain what had happened.

Yewon's pov:

- Good morning. The mafia tried to kill Yewon, but luckily, the doctors saved her. So, no one has died.
- The mafia wanted to kill me? -. I ask, perplexed.

Why would the mafia choose me to kill me first?

Jaehyun widened his eyes for a second and then, dramatically, says -. No way! Who dared to try to kill my darling? NAWA! Show yourself...
I stopped him as he was overreacting -. Calm down.
- Bu...

I glared at him, making him sigh.

- Thanks to whoever the doctors are -. I say.
- Now, let's vote. who do you think the mafia is -. Zico says -. And then, you'll make another round. Buy decent houses this time, please.

Is he judging our house? How dares he!?

- I think it's Jaehyun! -. Sara suddenly says.
I have to defend my pair, so I say -. He isn't. Why do you suspect him?
- Because you almost die, and he lives with you! -. The girl says.
- If he was, he wouldn't try to kill me in the first night! I am his girlfriend. Why would he kill me? -. I state.
- True...
- I think it is Jaemin -. Mark says.
- I'm not! -. The said boy say -. Why would I kill my neighbor?

Mark shrugged.

- Well... Joshua is the quietest along Sara, Seol, Hyunjin, and Yeji -. Jaehyun states.
- What?!
- I swear I'm not!
- I'm a doctor!

They all said.

And we continued to argue about who the mafia must be until Zico cuts us, saying that it's time to vote.

In the end, Hyunjin and Joshua's pair were chosen. So we voted again, and Hyunjin got more votes.

- Hyunjin ssi -. Zico says -. Do you want to say something? Remember that, from now on, you can't talk or help. You'll be an angel.
Hyunjin sighs and looks at his pair, Yeji -. I don't know how the hell did i get the most votes. But... I'm sorry Yeji-ah, from now on, you'll be on your own -. He says.

Yeji gasps dramatically, covering her mouth while Hyunjin grabs a pair of angel wings and wears them.

- Couples -. Zico says -. You can now continue. Roll the dice and go!

Upon hearing this, we all rushed to our places to start the second round.
