Yewon woke up in an unfamiliar room. Her body ached, and she was cold – even though she was covered with a blanket.

She felt as if something – or someone, – was missing.

She looked around and got scared.

Her mind was filled with worried thoughts; "Where the hell am I? Did I get kidnapped? What happened?"

She stood up, leaving the messy bed, and looked for her phone, not finding it.

"Oh my god, what if I really was kidnapped?" She thought again, heading towards the door and opened it, feeling relieved as it wasn't locked.

Yewon quietly left the room and went downstairs. She saw the front door and headed towards there, trying not to get either caught or seen.

Yewon's pov:

Ok, I got this.

I'm on the floor behind the kitchen's aisle, where a middle-aged man is grabbing a pan. If he doesn't see me, I win.

Wait, is he the one who kidnapped me?

Oh my god, what if he's getting ready to kill me? Will he cook me in that pan?

I shook my head.

Kim Yewon, you can't think about that right now. You have to sneak out and report to the police.

However, I'm too afraid to move.

–What are you doing? – A voice asks.
I look up at the person who is looking down at me and scream –. AHHHHHHHH –. I sat on the floor and covered my eyes, stepping back.

The man is looking at me with a freaking pan and a cooking knife.

– I...
– Why did you kidnap me? Don't kill me, please! – I exclaimed, scared.
– You must be the girl –. The man mumbled.

I'm shaking so much, and I can't breathe properly.

Great. I'm having an anxiety attack.

I hear some rushed steps coming from somewhere, and not so long later, they abruptly stop, and someone bends down to my level. The person pulls me for a hug.

– Yewonnie, no one has kidnapped you. You're safe here –. I hear a familiar voice.

And by the scent, warmth, and voice, I can say that it's him.

Myung Jaehyun.

Upon realizing that, I wrap my arms around his neck and hide my face on the crock of his neck.

I'm crying, and I can't stop shaking.

Jaehyun rubbs circles in my back, trying to calm me down. He doesn't say anything, but his presence is enough to make me feel comfortable and safe.

– Aigo... I'm sorry for leaving you alone in my room. I wanted to stay there until you woke up so that you wouldn't get scared, but mom asked me for help with something, and I had to leave you –. He explains, still rubbing my back softly and his head on top of mine.

I sniff and hold onto him more – if it was possible, – not leaving any space between us. I don't want to talk as I'm afraid my voice breaks up.

He sighs and stops rubbing my back as I have stopped shaking.

– Yewonnie, come on, don't be afraid –. He says –. I have already told you that you're safe and I'm with you, so stop crying, please. It breaks my heart seeing you cry.

I sigh and sniff his scent, now calmed.

I don't know what this feeling is, but it feels right. I like it. I don't want to pull away and i wish we could stay like this forever.
