Yewon's pov:

I'm in my room, walking non-stop.

—Did I kiss him? —. I whisper, stopping.
I mess my hair and shout —. AAAHHHH, I must have gone crazy. Yes, that's it. Ha. —. I sigh.

The scene of me kissing Jaehyun repeated in my mind, and I groaned.

—AHH!! HA. HA —. I laughed, crying fakely —. I kissed him, ha! Ha ha! I'm crazy! GOD! Why the fuck did I kiss him!!? —. I mess my hair again and walk around my room again.

Why did I kiss him? Why did he respond to the kiss?

Are we bonded now?!

—Ha...—. I sigh —. I'm crazy. All because of this damn string —. I glare at my string that streches outside the window. —HATE YOU, FATE! —. I scream at the top of my lungs.

I take a deep breath and open the window.

My eyes teared up —. I HATE YOU FATE, SOULMATE. ALL OF YOU! WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH?! —. I step away from the window and sit on my bed.

What did I do to deserve this? What did I do?! Uh?!

I started to sob.

Now, what? Am i fated to him, just like that?

—AHHHH!

Jaehyun's pov:

I can't believe I kissed her twice. Well, she started the second, but... TWICE.

I can't believe this. Oh my god.

Am I fated to her now? supposedly yes. But I'm not sure as our situation is different.

—AHHH —. I happily shout.

Does that mean that she has accepted me? Has she changed her mind?

I grab my phone with my good arm and search up silver strings.

I write: What does silver mean in fate?

Silver is a special colour that is given to special people.
In competitions, the second winner gets a silver medal, for example. Golden is still the " most important" colour, but sometimes, silver wins.

It is very beautiful as sometimes it shines, and it would be amazing if fate has it. Sadly, fate doesn't have silver in its four colours, so there's no string of that colour, and it is impossible to see a couple of soulmates with a silver string.

That's a lie 'cause I have a silver string connected to Yewon.

There's no useful information about this, I'll have to ask mom.

My mother is an expert in fate and soulmates. Her job is to give advice about soulmates.

She knows everything about the colours, so I guess she'll know about silver.

I called my mother and she came ten minutes later.

—What's wrong? —. She asks.
—My string.

She looks at me dearly and approach me.

—Is it really silver? —. She asks, her expression has turned sternly.

I nod.

She sighs —. As you know... it isn't a fate's colour and it is impossible to see someone with this colour in their string. That's because it doesn't belong to fate, well yes. But not like that.
—Where does it belong then?
—To heaven. You know... gods and goddesses control fate. They choose those colours. But, they also change them sometimes. For example, I had a client whose string was purple.
—Why does it happen? —. I ask.
—In his case, it was because his soulmate rejected him when he got the string. His soulmate was his crush before —. She shortly explains.
—Then... why silver? — I ask again.
She sighs —. You told me that your soulmate, what was her name again...?
—Yewon —. I quickly reply. —Her name is Kim Yewon.
—Yes. Yewon —. She nods —. You told me that she hates fate and soulmates and that she's hopeless.

I nod again.

—She didn't tell you the last thing, but you somehow know it.

—Exactly. You are ready to make her change her mind and make her fall for you genuinly. But why? Because she hates or is against fate and you and because you love her.

—She has probably suffered a lot in her past. More than you can imagine. That's why the goddesses gift her you.
—What? Am I a gift? How? —. I confusedly ask.
She chuckles —. Kind of. You are an amazing person, and besides.... who would be better for her than you? —. She jokes.

I smile.

—What I mean is... that they gifted her an amazing soulmate. You. — She says. —But not only your colour msans something different, but your string also works differently.
—And... how does it work?
—It's different of the other colours. You won't bond with just a kiss.

Oh, so I'm not bonded to her yet...

—Mom —. I call her —. I have to tell you something, but promise me you won't tease me —. I quickly say.
—I won't.
—I kissed my soulmate.... twice —. I mutter the last thing, but she heards it.
—Twice?! My Jaehyunnie is so brave that he kissed her twice! Your bold now, uh? I see —. She teases me.
I looked down, my ears and face surely red —. Mom! You promised!

She laughed and hugged me by my shoulders.

—I love teasing you —. She says —. As your mother, it's my job to tease my son.
—Mom...
—Don't tell me you thought you were bonded with her —. She asks, and upon seeing my embarrassing face, she laughs —. Omo! Haha!

When she calmed down, she looked at me seriously.

—You will bond in another way —. She says.
—How?
—When you kiss lovely. You know? —. Upon seeing my confused face, she sighs —. When you both fall in love with each other. Only when the kiss is full of true love, you'll bond.
—Oh... she kissed me the second time. Does it count?
—No —. She shakes her head —. Because the first time she didn't, and the second was probably a lovely one, but for you. She doesn't love you yet.

That means that I have to make her fall for me as much as I have fallen.

—Thank you, mom —. I say.
She sends me a mischievously smile —. Jaehyunnie~, would you mind explaining to me how you guys kissed the second time? I want to know all the details.
—Oh, no —. I turn pink again.
—Please~ I won't tell your dad if you tell me.
—Mom! —. I sigh —. Arasso! But don't tell dad.

She made a gesture that her mouth was sealed with her hand. And I started to tell her, trying not to blush.

So... Jaehyun's mother loves teasing him and see him embarrassed.

I'm not a full Zerose 'cuz I'm not sure they'll be together as a group for a long time, as they came for a survival show as Kep1er... but I still like them, though.
