1 c. sugar
1 qt. water
12 cloves
4 sticks cinnamon
4 whole allspice
1 stick ginger
3 c. orange juice
2 c. lemon juice
2 qts. apple juice
Bring sugar and water to a boil. Put spices in a cheesecloth bag; add to boiling mixture. Continue to simmer for 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boiling point and let it stand for about 5 minutes and serve hot. Serves 20.
