Armana Frauleins

"How do I look?" I twirled around and showed my disguise to Scarlet.

Apparently, all I need to do was to tell her, I need a disguise so I could go to the Street Market. I'm really excited for today because I was about to see one of my favourite scenes from a novel. I always liked to read about the scenes from there, probably because I was more interested in the background scenery than the actual scene.

"You still look like a Royalty, Your Highness." She looked at me with glittering eyes.

"That is a problem, then." I put my arms on waist.

"I meant, beautiful." Scarlet corrected, for which I chuckled.

"Alright, then, whatever you say." I looked at the mirror for one last time.

Knock. Knock.

"Come in!" I permitted.

The door opened, revealing a handsome, charming guy with blonde hair and violet eyes. The eyes are familiar yet beautiful. Who is this? I have never seen or heard about him before, not even in the novel.

"Ready to go?" That man asked, with a familiar voice.

My jaw dropped. "Your Grace?"

He chuckled, "Did you think I was your Prince Charming or what?" His arms crossed on his big broad chest. He looked like a normal citizen. But his behaviour does gives the aura of a Royalty.

"If you didn't speak, I might've thought that you are, Your Grace." I chuckled, and he synced his charming laugh with me

These novel men are hot.

"Now we shall depart. We have a long day ahead of us." He spoke again. "We also have to return before sunset."

I nodded, looked at Scarlet who was standing behind me. "Thank you for your hard work, Scarlet." I smiled and left the room with Nikolai.

"Brown hair does suits you, Lady Mellisa." His tone was smart, enchanting and beautiful.

"Well, thank you. It is a common colour so I could blend in with the people there." I replied.

"You cannot." He said, catching my curiosity towards him.

"Pardon?"

"Your appearance may say otherwise but it's the atmosphere around you that says you belong to the Royalty." He answered. "A Royalty will always be a Royalty, Lady Mellisa."

"I like your thinking to that, Your Grace. It appears you seem to hate the commoners." I looked at him

"Not much of a favourite position. I would like to think they are commoners for a reason." He replied.

"Your Grace. Not everyone has the potential to born into a Royal family, isn't it?" I asked.

He nodded. "You are correct. I see you are quite the brilliant, Lady-"

"Where are you two going?" We both stopped at the sudden discrete voice. Lorenzo.

We looked behind, yes, the icy blue eyes, the white snowy hair and the appearance that projects the King he is.

Did he even recognise us? I gulped, looked at Nikolai who stayed silent. I did the same.

"Where are you taking her?" His arms were crossed, now on his chest. "Answer me, Nikolai. I'm sure I warned you yesterday not to unnecessarily meddle into my business." He spoke like he was really angry.

He did recognise him but how?

"Do you know us?" I asked, breaking the silence.

Lorenzo's gaze shifted towards me and his eyes darkened. Oops. Is my head still there or has it been cut off by now?

Nikolai burst into laughter. Lorenzo narrowed his eyes, I looked at Nikolai with scared eyes. What is he doing! Is he crazy?

"Armana, you never fail to make me laugh. What were you in your previous life? A comedian?" He held his belly while he laughed.
I stared at him in O. I took a glance at Lorenzo, whose face was burning with anger.

"We are going to the Street Market, Your Majesty." I finally answered his question which was asked in the first place. "We won't take long, I promise." I smiled.

Lorenzo mumbled something which I could not hear but judging by Nikolai's reaction, he did hear it.

"You may not go."

I wasn't taking permission but okay. Awkward.

"Why?" I asked. "I will be back before dawn." I replied.

"Are you questioning my order, Armana?" Lorenzo narrowed his eyes. His deep blue eyes were warning me about something.
1 lowered my head. Unable to say anything.

Nikolai suddenly held my waist. I flinched.

"Do you trust me?" He whispered. I stared at him with my mouth opened. I knew Lorenzo was looking at us, yet I nodded.

"What are you-"

Before Lorenzo could finish his sentence. Nikolai held me tightly, and we jumped of the Castle from the window that was beside us. I closed my eyes in fear. I couldn't speak or could I breath.

"You know you can open your eyes." I heard Nikolai speak.

My slowly opened my eyes, my jaw dropped. I was flying. We were flying! How? The city looks beautiful from up here. I looked back to see a small figure from the window we jumped off. Lorenzo. He looked mad.

"Your Grace.. What are we going to do when we get back?" I asked, looking at him...

"Live your moment now, Mellisa." He said without using any Lady, which was relaxing somehow. "The highest he will do is get mad at me or punish me. Its bearable. Don't worry." He said, still holding my waist for balance.

It is truly incredible that we are flying. I couldn't believe. Nikolai looked at me and chuckled. "The North Royalties has the dress that makes us fly. It had been invented by à Scientist named, Burthon Marculous, who made only 3 dresses that had been passed from generation to generation." He explained.

"Which means, you, His Majesty and His Highness have it?" I asked.

He nodded. Impressive.

Nikolai shifted and we began to get lower until we landed, on an empty place. "We have to walk from here. It's not far. Just 2 minutes from here." He said.

_

"Are you two new in this town?" A shopkeeper asked, looking at us.

Nikolai nodded.

"I smell newly weds." The shopkeeper said.

I tried to correct him but Nikolai stopped me. "Yes, we are. I am Christopher. This is my wife, Mellisa. He introduced and I smiled awkwardly.

The shopkeeper smiled. "This lady is a keeper. Make sure you treasure her."

Nikolai looked at me and smiled, "Yeah. I will do that." His soft smile melted me.

How lucky Fiona is to have a partner like him.

Suddenly, I felt a gaze from behind my back, when I turned back I saw no one. Just unknown people exchanging smiles, buying things, hugging eachother and all.

"You alright?" Nikolai asked.

"Yeah? Yeah! I'm fine." I smiled.

There is someone watching me. I'm sure. 100%. From now on, I will just have to be careful.
