I watch her as she looks through some designed bangles. One structured with roses and the other ones will normal pink flowers, with a hint of gold touch.
"Which one do you prefer?" She asked, showing me those two bangles.
I made a hmm noise and selected the one with pink flowers designed on it. "This will look good on you." I complimented.
"Thank you but this isn't for me but Scarlet." She said.
She's taking this beautiful piece for her maid? Whoever this Mellisa Marie is. . . She is an amazing girl.
"I know!" We both turned back to see an middle aged woman with blonde hair and light wrinkled skin with another middle aged woman with brunette hair and soft skin yet wrinkled face. "It is a pity to not get any attention from her husband."
"What do you expect from her? She is known to be the most devilish woman existed in human world." The other one barked.
"Imagine the day a heir will be born?"
"That day wouldn't arrive because I bet His Majesty hasn't called her in his bedroom yet." They both started laughing.
I looked at her face to see how is she so calm. She was still choosing something.
"I am so confused!" She exclaimed.

"Didn't you already choose?" I asked.
"It is for you." She showed me a manly ring. It was made out of a purple, unique gem. It looks magnificent.
My eyes stayed on hers as I was getting amazed everytime she talked.
My heart is aching. It is doing something to me yet I can't seem to understand this feeling. Her big, crimson eyes, waiting for my answer.
I gave her a smile. "It is lovely."
"You think so?" She smiled back, relieved that I liked it.
I nodded and wore it on my finger immediately.

'Mellisa!" I quickly tried to grab her but yet I failed. The arrows had hit her, too deeply.
I looked through everywhere from where it came from. There. I found a man hiding behind a tree. Right now, Mellisa was more important. I gestured towards the tree to my knights, who were always present.
Everyone was staring at us. Few admiring how a husband is so broken by her wife's injury. Few of them pitying her. Few of them concerned and protecting themselves, but none came to help us.
That was the reason I hated commoners.
"Mellisa..." I picked her up and whispered. I was shaking, breathing heavily.
What if the arrow is poisonous, what if it was deadly.
What if she...
