Armana Frauleins

"My precious sister!" Sol hugged me which felt warm and sweet.

"Brother." I hugged back.

Beside me was Lorenzo, my so-called beloved husband and Fiona who practically begged to greet the crown prince of the South.

"It is an honour to meet you, Sol." Lorenzo used his first name because apparently this was the rule. After marriage, brothers should refer to their husband as brother in law or their first name so there's not a sense of unfamiliarity but coming this from Lorenzo seems a bit awkward.

"The honour is mine." He gave his prince charming smile, hiding the fact that he wants to kill Lorenzo.

Don't ask me how I know that...I just know that.

"Greetings, Your Honour. I am Fiona B-"

"Thank you. I would like to spend my time with my sister and brother in law now." Sol said without letting Fiona finish.

Oops. . . I don't want to see Lorenzo's mad face now that Sol insulted Fiona. I glanced at Lorenzo who had a neutral face. No reaction, no anger, no care towards Fiona. Is he really going to act like he's in love with me until the day Sol leaves? This is going to be fun.

"I-I. . ." Fiona looked at Lorenzo who was looking at me.

Huh?

"That would be a great opportunity to get to know my wife's brother." He gave me soft smile which looked magnificent like an angel.

I never knew the devil could do such thing. I gazed at Fiona who almost looked like she's going to cry. Bitch you asked for it.

After Fiona left, it was just the three of us. I know Sol is examining us but his acts are really impressive because normal people wouldn't notice but as his sister I know he's finding every possible ways to detect a wrong thing about Lorenzo.

Suddenly I felt a warm hand on my arms. I looked to see Lorenzo was holding my hands and it felt really genuine. Why am I feeling so hot? Why does my chest hurt?

I took a huge gulp while Lorenzo and Sol were talking about some political issues.

It's seriously boring how guys talk about their guy stuff all the time even when there's a lady beside them.

I used to hate going out with Steven while his friends were with him because they completely forget the fact that girls are sitting beside them.

But somehow this felt different. This felt so new and not boring at all. The way Lorenzo was holding my hand while talking to Sol and giving me the attention I should get without showing it. Even though, it's all fake but I still feel special sitting around here.

Suddenly a knock interrupted and Lucas entered the room. Lorenzo's hand were still holding mine. Lucas seemed to notice it and grinned. I got shy and Sol was observing it all.

"I am sorry to interrupt your precious time, My Lords and Her Highness. But His Majesty has some urgent things he needs to discuss with His Highness." He said.

Lorenzo nodded and looked at Sol, "I am sorry but I do have to leave now. We will talk when I will finish with my works."

Sol nodded and gave his best smile. After he left, Sol looked at me and asked, "Is that maniac treating you right, sister?"

I chuckled, "Yes, brother. That 'maniac' indeed treats me the way no man can do."

"Except for me." Sol flexed himself.

I sighed and giggled, "Of course."

"Hate to see the pink mistress there." He asked.

"She's not a pink mistress. She is just like an adopted daughter here." I said.

"Nobody is adopted, little sister. Nobody refers to someone as adopted, which clearly indicates, you cannot stand her." He replied.

Woah. Smart.

"Leave it, brother." I smiled. "Would you like to see the garden or you want to take some rest?"

"I would love to spend some time with you, dear sister but unfortunately I have some business I need to attend to the Royale Empire. I will be back very soon." He smiled.

What business could he possibly have in the Empire?

I nodded and he left.

"Armana. Hello." I heard an informal greeting, which didn't take me long to gueds who it was.

I tuned back to see the curly light pink hair brushing against her waist. She was wearing a yellow gown with white polka dots designed through the dress. She's a beautiful lady. But her personality doesn't match with her dress anymore.

"Fiona." I smiled. "How have you been?" I asked, even though we just met few hours ago.

"I thought you will be busy with your brother today." She said.

There she goes again. But how she's so sweet now? She already showed her true colour to me long ago.

"He had some business so he had to leave." I replied.

"Too bad." She mumbled.

"Pardon?"

"Nothing. I will take my leave. Lorenzo told me he will take me to the horse field today." She smiled. "I will see you later, Armana."

Horse field...? But, if they go to the horse field then, Sol will suspect something and Lorenzo is not here so how come she's going...?

Did Lorenzo lie to me?

"Your Highness?" Scarlet called me out. "Is there anything that has been bothering you?"

"Scarlet, could you check on His Highness." I said.

"You don't know? His Highness is in the horse field with Lady Fiona as far as I've seen." She replied.

"What...?"

"Your Highness. I'm really sorry to inform you that." She said. "But I think you should also go there or else. . ."

"Sol will see them together." I gulped. It will cause a huge problem.

I quickly ran towards the horse field. Everyone I passed were staring at me, probably thinking why was the princess running a marathon. Right now, I have a reputation to protect.

If Sol sees them, there's a huge chance he will start a war and as a result I will lose my life too. I cannot let myself getting killed again. It's not possible.

I will live!
