Lorenzo Morelli
I stood there as I saw both of them leave. A rage of pain, anger, mystery rushed through me. What was that feeling, I was unsure of it.
"Lorenzo...?" I heard Fiona call me from behind. "Are you alright?"
"Armana and Nikolai just left, through the window." I said briefly.
"They did-?" She hesitated for a minute. "I see.Everyone likes her isn't it?"
"She is a seductive woman. Seducing woman shouldn't be a talent but a ugly deed." I said, looking at her.
She smiled weakly. "I realised I have something important I would like to do. Have a great day, Lorenzo." She smiled.
I didn't stop her but she seemed sad and in a hurry. What important thing could she have. Yesterday she suddenly asked for many coins and told me they were for charity. I was a bit surprised but I did gave her that because Fiona is a generous woman. She must've felt lonely when everyone gave attention to Armana so she decided to earn the commoners favour as well? That must be it.
I like what she is doing but Mellisa...? I don't know ever since she admitted she was a different person, my whole perspective about her changed. I was slowly drown to her so I wanted to distance myself from her. I kept on forgetting the fact that her was brother was here and he is really suspicious of me. Judging from his behaviour, he likes Nikolai more. As expected from the male lead...
Sometimes it is hard to possess the blood of the Royals. I wish I could be those commoners or someone from Mellisa's dimension, where she didn't die and I'm not just a novel man she read about.
"Where is Sol?" I asked Charles, who was working on some papers as usual.
"He was invited to the Baron's house. Funny isn't it?" Charles said, looking at me.
"These two siblings indeed amaze me from time to time." I replied.
Charles nodded. "Funny is that despite Sol Asmond being here you still hangout with Lady Fiona." He sighed. "Your Majesty, have you ever imagined how it will look from Sol Asmond's point of view when he will realise that his own and loving sister isn't getting the proper amount of love she received from her childhood from her husband?"
Wrong. Armana doesn't love me. Mellisa doesn't. It is all her scheme to survive. Why should I? But then again, this was the only favour she asked before admitting she will ignore me and leave Fiona and me be. But how am I going to spend time with her when all she does is be with Nikolai? Nikolai is a bastard from the start, making everyone's story his.
"Lorenzo?" The soft voice filled the room.
I looked at Charles whose eyes rolled, I looked back to see Fiona all dressed up. "Do you need something, Fiona?"
"Do you want to go to the Nivara pond?" She asked.
I immediately smiled, yet something was stopping me. I still agreed to go there.
Nivara Pond was my mother's favourite place to spend her own lavishing time. Whenever she faces a problem, she would go to the Nivara Pond which gave her all of her solutions. To know that Fiona wants to go there makes me feel blessed and lucky. I am sure, my mother would have loved her dearly if she had the chance to see her but Armana...
